Wilson's Disease Medication Causing Penis Enlargement?
A few weeks back I was searching on Reddit for penis enlargement posts and stumbled on one post where a user explained that his brother, having a rare disease known as Wilson’s disease, experienced penis enlargement as a side-effect of the medication he needed to take.
Now I’m unsure if the user was joking or making this up, and even worse I can no longer even find the post I found this information on, but I decided to look into it either way.
I got most of my information on the disease from the following website:
https://raredis eases.org/rare- … wilson-disease/
And from there the three medications needed to treat the disease are penicillamine (Cuprimine) or trientine dihydrochloride (Syprine), zinc salts, and
Tetrathiomolybdate.
Now I distinctly remember the user in the post only mentioning Syprine, and from reading the rare diseases website, is clear that it is used to remove excess copper in the blood via urinary excretion.
If Syprine really was the drug responsible in causing penis enlargement, if the Reddit post had any merit at all, then it falls in-line with other gains made by people using DMSO with vitamins and minerals, as I would assume the absorption of copper into the penile tissues, as must be present when excreting copper from the blood through the urine when using Syprine and Cuprimine, would also be similarly simulated when topically absorbing vitamins and minerals including copper using DMSO.
Which is the reason I’m posting really as I have no background in chemistry, biology or pharmacology, and wondered if any more experienced or knowledgable persons could maybe provide information on the mechanisms of the drug or if this is impossible altogether.
Sorry if this is in the wrong sub forum.
Thank you
