Any tips about shaving the pubic hair?

I have shaved my pubic hair.

- First a warm shower
- a clear razor blade
- put on the shaving cream
- shave the pubic hair
- after shave

It really looked nice and clean, later on I got some irritation and two pimple’s.

Any idea’s to prevent that next time?

I, can, I can, I can not, can not compute..

:]

Against irritating.

Forget the aftershave, it only irritates your skin.

Concerning the pimple’s : the more you shave, the less you will get them.
Also try to use a shaving foam for sensitive skin.

Forget about aftershave. Put on some Gold Bond medicated powder, or the equivalent. I don’t use shaving cream either. Just soap up in the shower.

I just ordered one of these, Personal Shavers and Trimmers | Cleancut Trimmers, I’ll see how it turns out. I found that normal electric shavers also gave a close enough shave without stubble or irritation, thats why I wanted to experience this shaver. You can also shave your scrotum alot better with an electronic. Good Luck.

Go to Hairfacts . If you can’t find what you want there go to their forums and ask there. The people who frequent there know just about everything there is to know about hair removal, I’m not sure but I’d wadger some are professionals in the field (people who do waxes, laser treatments, electrolosys treatments, etc.)

Hi Anon,

After shaving your pubic hair use a moisturiser balm with some Aloe Vera in it. Aloe Vera is extremely helpful in reducing irritation.

Aftershave dries your your skin and may in fact be causing the skin irritation.

Hope this helps, Anon.

what about aftershave balms? I’ve been using aftershave balm for years, it feels soothing, as opposed to the alcohol burn of normal aftershave

I don’t remember what it was called but a number of guys have tried out and loved a shaver that was designed specifically for the dangley bits.

Personally I just use bic lighter and burn them off.

I hear propane torches work much quicker. Then you can apply used motor oil afterward to sooth things. Or… er… I can’t remember. Maybe you’re supposed to apply the motor oil first as a pre-shave conditioner.

I have the same problem with irritation. I bought some new shaving cream last night that I’m gonna try tonight. If it works out good I’ll let yall know what it is.

There is something in the drug store called Bikini Zone that you put on right after you shave that stops the bumps from coming.

I just use hair remover, then this — no need to shave at all!
