Hello,

I’ve tried using a couple of diff cock rings. My erect cock is close to 5.5” at the base. A 1.5” rubber cock ring goes on easily flaccid, and when I get an erection it seems to help add a little extra pump especially with veins popping up. But it does not seem to be tight enough to keep the erection for long. When I tried to have sex with it on, I had a lot of irritation in the skin on the underside of my penis. Since starting PE, I have some “turkey neck” skin under there, and no matter how I’ve tried adjusting the ring by pulling diff amounts of skin through, I seem to get this irritation. I also tried a 1.25” ring and the pump felt much stronger but the irritation was much worse as well. Any advice appreciated….

I’m an idiot when it comes to diameters and circumferences but it sounds like the one you’re trying isn’t right for size.

A suggestion. Every large hardward store has a rack in the plumbing section called “O Rings.” There are literally hundreds of different O rings for sale made of all kinds of materials, many of them flexible in lots of sizes. Idea is, buy several to try out - they’re cheap enough that you can buy a bunch in different diameters for less than US$ 10. Find the one that works for you, make note of the diameter listed on the pack it comes in then you can duplicate that in some fancy-Dan adult store type that suits you.

The best fitting cock ring I own came from Ace Hardware. I must have been delusional the day I bought about 6 of them. Some of these, way back in the bottom of the drawer, wouldn’t slip even over the head of Bib or DLD’s dick. But I keep ‘em around, always hopeful.

You might want to try wearing the cock ring around your entire package (both dick and balls). That’s the way a cock ring is traditionally worn; it would also eliminate your turkey neck irritation problem.

Thanks for the advice. Would like to hear from someone who uses a cock ring regularly. I have tried other sizes as well, I’d really like to get an idea of what size ring vs. girth you use. As far as around the balls, I’ve tried that too and cannot stand it.

Someone mentioned using a metal ring, wonder if a rigid ring is better?

The diameter of the ring you use depends on your own girth measurement. When using a shaft ring only, the fit should be tight but not a “strangle hold.” Wearing it should be completely comfortable. Your veins will become more prominent but don’t let that worry you so long as the ring feels comfortable to you.

I much prefer pliable rings. Since when you are erect they should only be worn for about a half hour at a time, a pliable one is far easier to remove when you find that your erect time is exceeding that limit. Also, during intercourse if the two of you are doing any pelvic grinding, a pliable ring doesn’t get in the way is more comfortable to your partner against her pubic bone.

While you’re experimenting with the right size for you, elimate the ones which are too small, but save the larger ones as you just might grow into them during your PE program.

Also, shop around. Some adult stores mark up the prices of cock rings to a ridiculous level.

I use the the “Model B” Cock Cushion from CTC Company. It’s great for maintaining your size after a workout. It is wider and more comfortable than a regular cock ring and costs $17.95. You shouldn’t wear it during sex because it’s too wide for that.

Sorry in advance if this is already posted. Cut a 1/8-1/4” ring from the cap of a deodorant bottle. Get a long strip of 1” cotton or similar and wrap it around the ring (in and outside looping inside) until it is the correct diameter.
