I had an injury from clamping about a week ago that has kept me from doing PE (100% clamping), and I have been really depressed to see how quickly my girth gains are melting. I love clamping and still believe in it for girth, but I just thought I should report that at least in my case, some of my gains are disappearing rather rapidly during this break … I know that some of the gains are permanent, at least I believe this, but some apparently disappear fairly quickly during an extended break. (See Injuries threads for details if you want to know about the nature of the injury - not your typical thrombosed vein, but sudden, slightly raised red spots all over my unit).

This is particularly bad since I have a booty call in south Texas in about 2 weeks and wanted to be phat as possible.

I’ve noticed from clamping, and also O bends, that I will see some really good gains, but if I take some days off, they disappear. I think the gains must be mostly fluid under the skin on top of the tunica, or else the tunica stretches temporarily but retains its “memory”. My hope is that with continued clamping, eventually it will stick.

Dangle, if your penis shrinks it is still probaably huge. Don’t worry about it man.

Dangle, try edgeing as a form of a maintanace routine. It shouldn’t cause too much pressure to build up in your cock, and will help to maintain your gains until you heal.

I recently also injured my cock doing uli’s, but kept my gains by doing this.

Yes, I am doing some manual squeezes without clamping for now, trying to stop the loss of gains, even if I can’t get some of them back.

Yes, I wonder if most of the gains are fluid that diminishes pretty rapidly when you quit clamping. Generally this isn’t a problem because I clamp daily and sort of like it, but with an injury, I hate to see the gains go away.

Update: I have done very little of anything since my skin disaster about 10 days ago, and now, my girth gains from clamping have almost entirely disappeared. Obviously, I am really disappointed.

Dman, I wouldn’t worry too much. I think that once you get to a certain point, it is not as difficult to get there again. At least I hope so, because I am in the same boat- a little Thrombos on the side for me too!

I notice this with clamping as well. But some of the gains have been permanent (as far as I can now tell). I don’t think the gains are from fluid; it’s just not the same as pumping. But I think it takes a long time before some of the gains are cemented.

I don’t know what to suggest for your upcoming booty call. But as others have said, you are plenty big as it is.

With the longterm in view, I’ve concluded that I’m more than happy to maintain some kind of clamping/pumping maintenance routine, once I get to my desired girth. Perhaps once a day, or once every other day. I don’t know. But I put a lot more time into maintaining my physique/weight, shaving, brushing my teeth, etc. Continued PE is no problem to me at all!

Motivated: smart to spend more time on body, teeth, etc - for all our obsession with dicks, women rank eyes, face, smile, body, butt, chest and arms, and a whole lot of other things ahead of dick size in attraction.

Looking back at my log since October, I really have spent VERY little of the time doing what gave me the gains: squeezing while clamped, under IR light. So I feel better knowing that I can’t really expect to have cemented those gains so quickly. I DO still believe greatly in clamping and will get back to it when my skin clears up. It’s the only thing that has ever given me even TEMPORARY noticeable girth gains - and the feeling that I was just getting pumped up so fast. I am just going to keep an excruciatingly close watch on my dick as I ramp up the pressure, IR light, etc.

Those big girth gains from clamping I knew can’t be that easy to get or we would all have 7 inch girth dicks in 6 months. I think they are good for girth but like all things it takes time. Good luck dangle I know your will get them back fast and sooner or later keep some. I lost girth just hanging and have been able to gain it back with clamping and I just took 4 out of 5 days off because of some donut shit going on around my scar but I didn’t lose anything in fact I had the best flaccid in a long time.

Remek was looking for a model for his new clamping tutorial. I recommended you before I read this thread. Looks like you better ease off for a while. I still don’t think it was the clamping did that to you. It could be a combination of all three elements linked with just overdoing all of it. Dino’s right. I think Clamping gains take a long time to cement. Clamping is a lot like Pumping in that it shows immediate temp gains. This tends to get people excited and they over do it. Slow and steady wins the PE race. But seriously, I’d have that thing looked at if I were you, before your hot date.
