discolouration from jelqing

I have notice I have a “tanned” effect from jelqing. I’ve searched on this I wondered if anyone knew why this happens.

I don’t have a particular problem with the colour, in many way almost unnoticeable I was just surprised it could develop from jelqing. But it does say that in the newbie info.

Does anybody know if this is permanent, or the original hue comes back over time? From searching it seems some have had to take some definite actions to restore the colour of their penis.

To a certain exrtent that depends on how old you are, as when you are young you change skin more readily than when you are older.

But for ‘average agers’ here I guess it would disappear after a while, providing it is not too dark

I’ve lightened up on jelqing recently and found that the discoloration went away pretty quickly.

I started to get that the first week I jelqued, it has gone noticeably since I eased up jelqing though.

Hey the tanning effect is okay, just wondering if it is permanent. It is not too dark either, I only really notice the difference when I pull back my foreskin. It just seemed from reading past threads that some guys went to a lot of effort to go back to their natural tone, when it may fade over time.

It also sounds like other PE methods may cause it too, eg. hanging, clamping etc… and I am sure one guy said that stretching did too (although I can’t quote the thread).

I’m interested what causes this, however nothing to technical I’m no expert.

Is the discoloration not caused by repeated high pressure causing blood to seep through into skin, from micro burst capillaries? I’ve noticed this as well, also happened when I tried clamping.

On having a break the color seems to fade.

Thanks for that Bigbox it sounds reasonable to me. Have you experienced a fading of the bronzed effect? I recently had 14 day break, but hadn’t really noticed it at that point so I can’t comment. If what you suggest is the reason, then it does seem likely that the colouring will fade over time.
