Disillusioned on my size (or why I PE)

I’m sure this is a common reason why most men here PE or continue to do so:

As outlined in my few posts, I am one of the bigger men here (9.25x5.8); however, it doesn’t look like it.

Maybe because I grew up with a 8.5-8.75 BPEL-before PE- so that my 0.5 length increase in little over a year doesn’t look like the over 9” wobblers here at the forum (as for girth-I never measured before, and I have only been able to fit into Magnum XLs, even before PE).

Basically I’m saying that I look down and it doesn’t look big, although I see pics on the forum with stats smaller than mine that look huge. This translates to me always checking my stats just to convince myself that what I read the time before is true.

This is not a pity letter. Just a letter to state I’m frustrated with thinking I have a small one when infact I do not. This is what motivates me to PE.

I feel the same way when people say that 7.25 BPEL is pretty big. I mean, NBP it is only 6.5 and it doesn’t look big at all to me. But who knows. The grass is always greener and the cock always nicer…

It’s some kind of body image distortion. Dysmorphia, I think it’s called. It really stinks. I have it, also. It’s not constantly every day, but somedays I look down and I think I look pretty pathetic. Like skinny girls who think that they’re fat! It’s helpful to go look at the other guys pics in the member area. When I see other guys with similar stats I say to myself, DAMNED! That’s pretty big! Hell, I see guys with smaller stats and I think they’re pretty big. Pretty obvious that it’s all in my head! And my dysmorphia dies down for a good couple of months and I just enjoy what I have. It’s a darned good feeling to have.

Somehow you’ve got to find a way to get that feeling for yourself. Waiting for reassurances from somebody else just leaves you dependent upon them. That’s not a good road to self-confidence.

There is a very small percentage of men larger than you, so unless you were meant to have a 20 inch dick, you’ll just have to live with the fact that you’ve got one bigass cock!

I’m not very long but quite thick, currently 6.25 NBPEL and 6.3 EG. So my penis in proportion looks short and stubby. This is why I want at least another 2 inches EL. However, I must admit that I’ve never had any complaints after I stuck it in. :-)

I don’t feel small anymore, but I do just feel “normal”, not at all big.

I think there should be a Forum Guideline that states that if you complain about the small size of your nine inch monster cock you should be banned without further notice.

I am literally 2” smaller than you so it is very difficult to muster sympathy but after I wallow in my own self pity and jealousy I can honestly say that I understand what your thinking.

Of course I’m not asking for sympathy, and I feel like a complete idiot typing like I’m complaining about it.

I know I’m lucky, but its a curious phenomena, and just goes to show that I don’t know if I’ll ever be really happy.

How about your partners? Haven’t they expressed how big you are? I can’t help but think that if I had a 9 bp x almost 6g cannon, the previous women I had been with , and even my wife (whom I realise doesn’t consider me above average size) mouths would fall open at first sight. I realise visually you’re probably showing more like 8” length, but still, 8” nbp x 6” g is what anna nimity has described as ultimate eye candy.

Having said that, I guess I can try to understand how with even that size you aren’t impressed with it—- I have a 7 1/4+ bpel x under 4 7/8 g and it looks small to me, but some guys would be happy to be that size and not feel like it is small.

But keep in mind I’m not much over 6” nbp in length (if I drop about 15 pounds in body weight will that help the nbp any?) so that coupled with my average girth really isn’t anything impressive, but yours is.

Yeah NBP I’m at 8.75. My only experience is with my current g/f and she always tells me I’m big (but I’m her first partner too). What’s sick is that we can’t do certain positions well because of my size (she has problems with cowgirl positions-she moves really slow and steady because there’s “too much pressure”-so slow that once I yelled at her for not going fast enough—>that was the end of that position saddly).

Do you have a big build? That can mess up a guy’s perception of his size because we look at proportions in photos, not absolutes (unless there’s a ruler or some other recognizable object in the photo). I see photos of guys with the same stats as mine, but their penises look bigger compared to mine because they weigh 90 pounds less than I do and are proportionally narrower than I am.

I am not complaining about my size. It just means that I have to get huge :D to be proportional.

Pri- I’m 5’10” (180lbs.) with thick legs that make my unit look small I suppose. But I’m also referring to how it looks in the mirror straight out away from my body.

For example, when I’m in a clamp, my dick has to be close to 9.5 NBPx 6.25 (a rough estimate as I use my hand instead of a ruler-and a size where I agree I look HUGE), so when I take it off, it gets to a “smaller” size that disappoints me.

Maybe that’s what’s wrong: I want my current size to = my clamp size. Well back to the jelq then.

You said your size of 9.25 bpel, 8.75 nbp, x 5.8 g “disappoints” you. Since you’re black I’m wondering if that has played a major part in your perception? (Whether it’s true or not that black men are bigger is not what my post is about here.) I’m wondering if as a black guy you have felt pressure, and your disappointment of your size is a result of it. You see yourself as “average” size, and I’m wondering if that average view you have is deeply rooted and seen in your eyes from the perspective of a black male amongst black men?

Many of us here have a perception of our size that doesn’t match what others say it is. The underlying reasons probably vary amongst us. Yours perception is one of the more extreme cases I’ve read here.
