Moderators - Job well done!
I just wanted to say that all of the moderators have done a good job handling this and all other issues. It is one of your tasks to consider and weigh all situations and that is just what you as a group have successfully done.
Now more than ever I am proud to be a member of this forum and I am committed to finding an anonymous way of donating to show my support for Thunder’s Place.
The review that the mods took absolutely needed to happen and the mods would not have been doing their jobs if they had not discussed this and all issues. Kudos to you guys.
It is, however, unfortunate that this unknown petey fellow used partial information and cryptic language to make it appear to the group that inappropriate behavior was taking place in the mod forum.
I am a little surprised to see so many gullible people falling for this tactic. Who is behind this? Well, it doesn’t’t really matter. What really matters is that Thunder’s Place continues as intended and with the good moderation that we have come to appreciate. DLD was one of this group and was a valued member of Thunder’s Place. Thunder’s Place is a community of 6500 people and loosing 1 person is not a significant impact. The real value of this forum remains with the other 6499 AND all of the intellectual property in the database. This forum is not and never will be about any one person.
When a person chooses to venture out from a personal level to a business level, business comes first. DLD is taking care of his business and good for him. The moderators of this forum are chartered to take care of Thunder’s Place much the same as a business.
I say more power to Thunder’s Place! All of you are what makes this work. From this point forward DLD’s web site will be limited to what one man can share about PE. Here we have many great minds working together. This is the team to be on for the long run, much as it was the team that DLD chose. What DLD is selling is a pretty, well organized package that truly has a value to a lot of men and he should be payed for his efforts in his business.
The fact remains that the real power of PE development remains in this forum.
