Does swimming affect gains

I used to swim quiet a bit, as of late and my new routine (which has been in affect for about a month) and I would like to get back into swimming. However I am concerned with losing or halting gains. Does anybody here actively swim and PE?

Also note, by swimming 100 laps in a pool.

I swim four times a month, but frankly I didn’t pay attention on losing gain because I believe I haven’t lost any :) Swimming is a sport type, so when you do sports, there’s nothing wrong with PEing.

Just about any intense physical activity will cause the penis to shrink. Add a cold water environment and the shrivel will seem worse. But the penis is an organ that expands and contracts naturally. Just because it’s smaller after exercise does not mean gains are “reversed” or lost. Some say the same thing about masturbation…

West is right. You will get temporary shrinkage because the water is cold and your blood is being used where it is needed, and that is not in your penis. I swim daily. Actually it is 2:00 AM here in Texas and as soon as I’m finished with this last hang set, I will slip two pounds of lead rings onto my swollen dick and swim laps until failure. I do this seven days a week. Its my routine, and I can assure you swimming will not affect your gains; it will in fact reduce the fat pad and show more flaccid.

WestLA is correct. You can expect to shrivel immediately after exercise but this quickly comes back to normal after you’re done.

I swim daily ~ for the last 20 years or so…I’m a certified hard gainer. Maybe there is a link but I doubt it…

I honestly feel in fact I know that ending a heated one hour hang session with wet jelqs and manual stretching in a hot tub at 104 degrees then cooling down the ligs in 72 degree water swimming laps while held extended with 2 pounds of lead will without a doubt give you flaccid gains, however I’ve seen little EBPL from it.

I just came up from the pool and pulled the weights off for bed. I’m sitting here on a Fowfer on a heating pad. In a few minutes I will go to bed and tuck this long skinny post hang dick between my legs to sleep. This is what is giving me my flaccid gains. I’m sure of it.

Actually, shrinkage is a good thing. It forces all the old blood out of the penis along with the waste. When it plumps up again, you’ll have fresh blood with good nutrients. So indirectly, I think shrinkage does affect gains…in a positive way.

Whatever you do, after you swim and feel all warmed up, do not stretch right away, because your unit is cold. I did this once — ouch!
