Fat pad/Mons pubis question for you who have lost weight

12

Search for ‘skinny fat’, unhung1. Buckfever seems to have it pegged, it sounds like you have body composition issues. Liposuction isn’t the answer, changing your body composition is. Look at your diet (Eat for Health) and exercise (lift weights, walk, run). Also consider taking cold showers or cold plunges, this is known for it’s impact on brown fat. Just don’t do it after lifting weights (blunts mTOR).

I have similar height/weight stats to you and almost no pubic fat because my body composition is on almost on point.

Thunder's Place: increasing penis size one dick at a time.

I gained 3/4in dropping from 220lb to 180lb 5ft 9in tall. All my weight loss was from weight lifting. I’m back at 220 currently and have been working out again to get that inch back.

I also had some issues that required some therapy to sort out. Hopefully you find a therapist that cares about you getting better and not that recurring payment.

Keep eating healthy and dieting but if you have the money and the fat in that area is stubborn go ahead and get liposuction. I did. And I’m a bodybuilder who eats healthy year round. Sometimes certain areas are just stubborn.

Congrats on the weight loss. Unfortunately for me, I’m going in the opposite direction, and gaining tons of weight. Losing weight is hard.

That is some good length to get losing 40lbs! It is interesting that is so different from person to person. I hope I can manage losing the weight and gaining an inch or so, would feel absolutely incredible to be honest.

Yes I have finally been to a therapist now for the first time ever. Can’t say it did much of anything the first session, but I can see how it can help in the long run. I would have liked to have 1 session per week with her but she can only do every other week so I guess that will have to do. When I called her 2 weeks ago when I had an anxiety attack of sorts, that’s when I really wanted to talk to someone, but I had to wait 2 weeks and ride it out on my own, it was fucking brutal. Now I just feel empty inside like nothing really matters. Just have to keep on moving, try and not listen to all the negative thoughts.

I think the hard part is actually eating right and not let yourself eat something bad (snacks and shit). Eating enough protein and knowing the amounts of calories you stuff yourself with can be tricky. I try, but lately after I had my anxiety and my life falling apart basically, I went from not eating anything for a week to eating like shit since. Gotta get back on the cleaner eating again and do myself a favour for once. It’s time.

Find someone else and I hate to say it, find a male therapist. I was able to do zoom meetings during the pandemic on a weekly basis and it really helped.

@Happypill

I ride bikes everyday and love it. It’s done wonders for my sexual health, performance, and literally everything. I suggest starting with cycling because it’s low impact and very fun. Next best thing would be an airodyne bike probably I even better. The most important thing is finding a healthy exercise that you love doing then you’ll stay consistent.

The stair stepper is also low impact and great for losing weight.

I Have Noticed A Large Difference.

I just stumbled on this post and since I have very recently lost weight I feel like I can echo other people in saying that it makes a big difference!

In College about 13 years ago I was really into fitness, lifting, and swimming. I was 6 foot even and 235 lbs at 6% body fat on hydro-static weigh in. I had no fat pad to speak of. Over the last 10+ years I have told myself 210 should be a healthy weight considering my build and past. This turned our to be false.

Fast forward to March 2022 I tore my left distal bicep tendon completely and after surgery really fell out of the gym entirely. This was a mistake and my own fault, but it highlighted how much weight I was carrying around as I felt like crap and finally took a hard look in the mirror. Mid April I had had enough and went full Keto and intermittent fasting 18:6 at the same time. I felt like crap for a week and have been running at a serious calorie deficit, but the weight loss has been dramatic. In 4 weeks I went from 212.7 to 192.5 lbs. I weighed each Wednesday night at around 10 pm for consistency. I will say here that this probably is not healthy or recommended as most guidelines say 2 lbs a week or something is better for sustained weight loss, so I can’t exactly recommend it. I am not a moderate person though, so I just went for it and have no regrets.

So to get to the point, around week three or 198 lbs I went to take a leak and noticed I looked bigger as soon as I unzipped my pants. Later that night I couldn’t help but see if it looked bigger hard, and sure enough it did. I can’t tell you how much fat pad was lost exactly other than to say that it was definitely significant (I’m sure fat pads vary between individuals.)It even encouraged me to jump back into PE right away. Additionally my wife was gone for 3 weeks on work and made unsolicited comments when she got home.

EQ is fantastic. I wake up every morning with a rager. My unit looks bigger and meaner than it ever has both soft and hard. My confidence is up.

Anyhow, I apologize for the long winded reply but I really feel losing weight has been amazing for me. I will continue until I hit at least 185 even though I cannot imagine being that small and my wife is already thrown off by the difference in my build. The benefits are great in the bedroom and the rest of life. Get after it! I wish you the best!

That’s awesome to hear bud, congrats on the loss in weight! You might not be around anymore but I thought I’d answer anyway. This year has been probably the worst in my life to date. Been depressed and had anxiety and all that jazz. Lost my job because of it. Just couldn’t handle it anymore. Life is a bit upside down so I haven’t done PE actively that much. Just started again a month or so ago with some jelqs and pumping. Had some sort of injury that made me not wanting to do any PE until it went away, and now that it basically has disappeared I am back at a slower pace.

Your story is of great inspiration to me because during this time I’ve gained about 6-7kg and I can both feel and see the difference it makes. I am going to really try and down my calories and try to not eat stupid calories for a good while. It’s hard though… had to move back home to my parents for a while and all the good stuff that’s around is just eyeing me, haha. My fatpad is big and I really want to see it reduced, and to do that I need to lose some weight. I will try and get back under 100kg again within a couple months or so. Could do it in a month if I really tried and was super strict, but we will see. I’m about 104kg now so we’ll see how well I can manage it. Will go back to intermittent fasting again and also 1 day per week full fasting maybe. I’m not going to starve myself. Just need to get used to eating less again.

Thank you again for your story, appreciate it!
