Yesterday I posted a thread with an applet that I called a PE Timer. At the moment it’s on my computer but some are skeptical about letting the applet run because it opens a file on your computer (with your permission of course). It is 100% safe and does noting malicious, it just open a text file that you tell it to, just like you would in say, Notepad.

But the point of this thread is to ask everyone what they would want in a PE software program. Right now, this program’s intention is to be a pacing program that times each specific exercise to the second and allows you to come up with multiple routines that you can load up when you want from a file. Its simple, but effective. I have no problems sharing the code if you want (just PM me) and letting people improve it.

So if you think it is useful to you, let me know what you would like to see.

What we are talking about is a web based applet, designed to time PE exercises in a routine.

Some kind of audible alarm would be good, probably.
A way to build as an app rather than an applet, so that people can use it independent of their browser.

Do you mean having a database of user files that people create so we can all share routines?

I mean integrating it with the PE database in some manner. Like it keeps track of when you PE, what type you PE, for how long you PE etc. This could then be crossed with gains made in order to extract correlations between routines and gains.
