I didn’t say it doesn’t work for other people, braindrain is probably perfect example of that. :) But I don’t see it working for me at all.

I’m sure my length gains have little or even nothing to do with dry jelqing because most of the time I did no more than 100 strokes. I can probably count the number of times I did more than 100 jelqs on fingers of my hands. Also, I’m not consistent with jelqing as I’m consistent with stretching (which is almost religiously). And to top it all off, I always did jelqs with 60-70% erection minimum.

Time: It varied but never more than 30 minutes. Average is probably somewhere around 15 minutes. Stretching is so fucking boring and it doesn’t feel good at all. My body’s response to it has been quite negative. My hands get cramped, my back ends up hurting, and my dick fights the stretch quite often. Now, lately it has been going better with the fulcrum stretches because I can relax more with them, but still nothing that I would consider positive. And since doing these stretches consistently, my flaccid hang has been awful. I don’t think my EQ has dropped, but maybe it has. I’m still getting great erections. But my flaccid looks like a shriveled up noodle most of the time now. And I don’t like it, at all.

Angles: all of them, maybe a slight focus on fulcrums because that’s what I’ve been doing lately.

Intensities: moderately aggressive - not yank my dick off hard but not a gentle stretch either.

If that’s the case, problem is either not enough stretching or you simply react bad to it. :confused:

I’ve been going to gym for years so I don’t have grip problems, although I do get fatigued if I exceed 30-40 minutes of stretching in single session, especially since I increased the intensity (which requires stronger grip).

The best way to pass time while stretching is watching movies or TV series. I probably average ~4 movies per week because of my PE. :D

Well, I have amazing hand strength from doing isometrics. I get a cramp that starts in my wrist and runs up to my forearm if I stretch too long.

I usually do watch TV when I stretch. I agree that it does help with the monotony of it.

Right now, I’m leaning on the side of not responding well to it. Even when I was doing simple 5-10 minute basic stretches, I always got negative reactions from it. That’s why I would stop doing it. Lately I have just pushed through any discomfort or general negativity with it.

Hey gator, I finished up with my PE session tonight and found something you might find useful. Here’s exactly the circumstances behind today’s encouraging session:

Last week I wore and ADS for like6 hours a day for 4 days. This is the most extensive length work I have ever done, and I could definitely feel the stretch. I also did very heavy PE almost every night because I was bored. This included my current routine of stretching, jelqing, edging clamping for 4 nights, stretching and pumping another night, and pumping and clamping another night. I took a cialis on friday, and I jacked off to completion about every other day.

Yeah, it was an intense PE week, and on my day off (Monday, 1/31) it really showed with negative PIs. I got the “firm flaccid” and deflated glans some people talk about, and I just felt shriveled and weird all day. When I woke up this morning (Tuesday, 2/1) it was still bad. My morning wood was one of those ones where you can feel that skinny rock-hard tunica-encased chambers with skin that almost feels loose from not being filled up. Definitely had to be lower than my usual girth, and I was disappointed all day.

So then the encouraging stuff started happening…tonight I decided to do a long session of pumping at 5 Hg with a heat pad around the tube. This was after a long, light stretch warm-up under IR lamp and just a tiny bit of jelqing. I stayed in the tube for about 2 episodes of netflix TV (I don’t watch porn), so that means about 45 minutes, and I really felt the stretch in there, but my dick looked about the same as always, and I came out flaccid but heavy, as usual. Actually change that - it was heavier than usual. It’s probably the most weight I’ve ever felt on my dick, even though I do one of these long pumping sessions every week.

That’s when I decided to put on a clamp - while my dick was soft and heavy - before getting an erection (I usually put the clamp on when fully erect). And this was the cool part. In the clamp, I got up to about 80% erection and measured my MSG as the highest it’s ever been (5.5 in). Isn’t that weird? 80% erect but huge (for me). And my tunica felt SOFT!!! Like the way I imagine all these great gainers feeling. I got up to full erection and had even more girth gains - all the way up to 5 and 5/8 in. And the tunica was still “soft.” Keep in mind that usually when I’m hard, that tunica is fucking thick feeling. You know what I mean, I know you do. But this time it wasn’t that way.

I think I may be on to something here, and I like it. I don’t know exactly what led to my tunica getting softer this time, but I’m thinking it’s a combination of the extensive length exercises and clamping last week, the pumping tonight, the constant heat (I always do this anyway though), and putting the clamp on when my dick’s still soft out of the tube.

If you’ve got the time, I suggest trying this routine with me. I think we’ve got the same dick. I know mine is proportionately a little larger to start, but it’s made of the same stuff, and I think if this leads to something on a few people, we may be able to come up with a routine for triple/quadruple tunica layer dudes everywhere.

I am just curious have you ever taken a break? Believe it’s called deconditioning? Although since your EQ has been 10/10 you most likely haven’t done anything that requires a break from PE but maybe the pause in PE thoughts will help break the mind from your non gaining negative thoughts?

I’ve taken sporadic breaks but nothing ever amounting to more than 40 days.

Lately I have been considering a big break until 2012. I’m just trying to determine if it’s necessary. Plus, there’s the battle of “Can I even go that long without jelqing since I love it so much” versus “if I stop for that long, there’s a great chance I’ll never come back to it.”

SG106: thanks for that write-up. I’m glad to see you finding some resemblence of success. From what I gather, you’re suggesting periods of length focused work and then follow that with periods of INTENSE girth work. If I’m wrong on that, correct me, especially if I am oversimplifying it.

Honestly, you lost me when it comes to the soft versus hard feeling of the tunica. Maybe I DO know what you’re referring to with the hard tunica and that I can’t compare because I’ve never felt a soft tunica. I know when my dick is erect, underneath the layer of skin, it’s like a piece of fucking iron. I’ve never had it feel soft while being erect…….IF that’s what you are referring to.

Additionally, my pump is busted and I have no plans in the near future of replacing it.

I loved pumping, but doing it for a few months and actually LOSING size while maintaining high EQ really turned me off the practice of it for anything beyond recreational fun. If my pump worked, I probably would use it every once in awhile because to me, it feels somewhat similar to getting a blowjob.

But doing it consistently? Probably never going to happen again.

Gator- what I mean by the hard tunica is what you’re describing- the piece of iron. But I’m saying that somehow with the above PE I managed to make it soft and expandable like the gainers on here experience. I’m trying to figure out whether it was the recovery from the previous week or the long pumping that did it. Or both.

Any further info science? I’m in the strong tunica/slow gainer category and would love to find a routine to stick with for a few months. It seems like your last routine was a somewhat shotgun approach, and while it worked, it’s hard to know what really made the difference. Have you had a chance to try certain parts of the routine independently to determine the real cause? If it could be narrowed down to a few exercises, it may provide a solution for a lot of hard gainers.

I don’t think it’s the actual exercises. To me, it’s more of the length focus versus girth focus. Although SG never really commented on whether or not I was correct in that so I’m not completely sure of his thought process. But that’s what I think. And I support that with what peskeptic has experienced the past month or so. My troubles are not with the theory but with the practice, mainly I cannot stretch pain free. And that troubles me because I can jelq as hard as I want - to the point where I’m virtually squeezing blood out - with no side effects.. But a light stretch causes major turtling and sharp pain in my glans and shaft.
