Another question, mgus, you seem to have studied this. The recommended amount of fish-oil capsules you see on the bottle indicates some kind of problem you will have if you go further ?

Oh, I actually didn’t realize it could make you hornier. Don’t need that. If I was any hornier , they’d have to lock me up. I was just thinking about PE benefits. Is there a health concern with higher amounts?

But I did decide to get a fish oil supplement the other night, since I read that it might be a beneficial supplement to add to my exercise nutrition stack. I am only gonna take 1000mg per day, there may be an erection aid in there, but I don’t need to want more sex!

Yes,definately a slave to sex ,here too. I’ve been taking 2, 1000mg capsules a day. I was wondering about optimising PE with fish oil. If it helps with making the tissues pliable , I’ll take more than I am, but the little woman’s going to have to beat me off with a stick. She’s gotta be able to sleep sometime:D

OK, I’ve been reading through some of the threads on fish oil, and there is masses of technical info on there, as per brands and purity etc. but the thing I can’t seem to find is whether many or most guys taking it have had a really noticible increase in libido? Mgus, for example I noticed in a thread dated a couple of years ago that you didn’t notice any improvement in this regard?

Just a quick tip - if you freeze your capsules it takes away the fishy burp taste. I don’t think this would do anything to the

effectiveness.

Until your body acclimates to higher dosages of fish oil, you may notice a looser stool than normal.

The indications on the bottles are for God knows what. At https://www.oilofpisces.com you see a lot of research summaries, they nearly always tell the doses for each study. AMHA says up to 1000 mg/day EPA/DHA is OK, but after that you need to talk to your doctor, and beware of blood-diluting medicines. They are covering their asses - populations that each lots of fish rarely die from sudden bleeding, so they are just being very careful (can anyone spell "Lawyer"?).

Both I and Mr.Happy have reported increased libido - for myself, getting a hardon from just holding hands. This change came across when I upped the dose to ~3000 mg/day. I am now taking Paxil, so the two kind of counteract each other, I’m now more "normal".

ONCE AGAIN note that when discussing Omega3, the interesting part is how much EPA/DHA you are getting - not the amount of fish oil per se, since it has a certain percentage of EPA/DHA (look on the bottle and calculate)

Is it influencing your climax control in anyway? I mean if higher libido(thanks to oil) make you ejaculate sooner than just on Paxil?

I started taking fish oil for it’s reputation as aid in recovery for athletic performance. Primarily, I read that it is useful in keeping T levels high. I feel that it definitely does this. My idea has always been that the higher libido is from higher T. I’ve also found that, though you might think otherwise since they also increase ease of arousal, things that increase your T levels also actually increase your control sexually.

Without disputing the value of fish oil, for nutritional purposes peanuts are improving. New varieties have higher mono-unsaturated fats, with a profile like olive oil’s.

I remember back in school that Cod liver oil was meant to help your brain work.
So my mum forced me to take 12 a day. 6 in the morning 6 in the evening.
I then stopped at some point. I didn’t notice much difference.
(I have like a few bottles left of it, I think)

But recently I have been eating sardines on toast for breakfast for like a week so far.
(Which are very high in omega 3)
Do you guys think I should make this a permanent part of my diet?
For PE’s sake? Or in general?

(And I do like eating sardines on toast, I would rather eat sardines then take capsules)
