For those who`ve used the PowerJelq device for a while now, can you recommend it?

Hey guys!

Yes, I`ve done a search but there is too many posts and differing opinions. What do owners of the PowerJelq device who`ve used it for a while think of it now? Can you recommend it?

I`ve always been of the opinion that jelqing with the hands is best. However, lately when doing my jelqing I`ve gotten terribly exhausted in my hands, almost to the point where it is painful fatigue. That`s the main reason why I see the PowerJelq as a good alternative to hands only jelqing.

On the other hand, it`s quite expensive so I would like to be 100 % sure before I waste any money.

Bought it, tried it, didn’t like it, don’t recommend it. Try two pieces of dowel (search on “jelq sticks”). You’d think the power-jelq would have the leverage advantage, but look carefully at the pivot point in relation to the handle and business end, then look a the cheap mild steel can lifter construction and lack of bearings, with little prongs inside the rollers that deform and jump out and cut your dick up (yes it happened to me). Sticks would never allow that. With sticks it’s a case of going mildly enough rather than “how come when I need to press this even harder the arms bend instead”.

When an arm broke on my PJ I wrote a complaint and they offered to replace it with the upcoming new version for the same price as the existing version if I bought another (meaning that I would have bought 3 of them in total). Instead I bought the can lifters from a kitchen utensil company (which is what they are) for a couple of dollars. The fact remains though that they are fit only for the purpose they were designed for (lifting cans) and not for a PJ.

I agree totally with Shiver, I only use it once in a blue moon. I just don’t think it was worth the effort and now they are offering some enhancement cream or other and we know how well they work. So I just imagine that orders have dried up for the PJ and they are trying something else. Just my opinion though.

I’ll give the Libertarian point of view on this issue :)

I got one and wore out two sets of rollers, the old style rollers. Now the PJ comes with some heavy duty rollers that I have yet to dent. The new rollers give a squeeze and tug that is awesome.

In my early days I consistently used the PJ. It was one of my main tools. In addition to being a newbie at the time, I have to give some credit to the PJ for my first inch of length gain AND the initial girth increase I received. It really had a positive affect on erection quality. Too, there are several exercises you can do with the PJ (jelq, stretch, squeeze).

Today I am no longer on a thorough PJ routine. Rather, I use the PJ between pump sessions. It really serves a wonderful purpose between pumps. I use the PJ on the top/bottom and on both sides. Takes practice, but really moves the blood around when perfected.

Personally, in my not so professional opinion, I consider the PJ a very useful tool. It worked for me.

I am of course pleased that it has proved a useful purchase for you marty. My problem I always felt, was due more to the fact that being un-cut, it didn’t work nearly as well, as I suspect it might, if I were otherwise.

This is merely my take on how it went, or didn’t go, for me. It will be interesting to see if anyone else thinks this is what makes all the difference.

I agree. I know there are uncut folks who use it, but I think it would be a bear to do so with all the loose skin. I could not recommend it for the uncut. And for the cut, I did experience a growth in loose skin after several months of use. Finding the right lube was an issue as well. But once I connected all the dots I obtained positive results.

Renholder, there are a ton of posts here that talk about the power jelq. I just did a search of those that I’ve responded to, just to narrow the search a little bit: /forum/search.p … searchid=150999 The ones that have power jelq in the thread title are probably the most relevant.

If you look through those you’ll find a lot more reviews. There are also a few descriptions of how to make one yourself.

But isn’t it possible that your gains *from* PJ use in your “early days” were merely coincidental, not causal? For most guys, newbie gains tend to be glorious, then we soon look back mournfully and wonder what the hell happened to those early gains.

I agree mostly with what Shiver wrote. I thought it was “okay” but not for the cost.

Also, a few times, one of the rollers popped off, they are easy enough to put back on, but I did scratch my member once.

Interesting. I am uncut, but never made the connection. For me it was more that the thing kept bending because it wasn’t strong enough, and after straightening it a few times it got metal fatigue and ceased to be.

The best I can say for it is that if you get one and use it, then you’ll pretty soon work out how it should have been designed. There’s a space in the market for a good jelq device, I just don’t think this is it.

I purchased my Powerjelq early in my PE career when it cost half of what it is today, and I did like the variety in jelq technique that it provided. I got some good girth results, in particular, and I still use it semi-regularly just to change things up on a day to day basis. In my case, I never had any problems with injuring myself or mechanical failure of the tool. I do think the current price of nearly $60.00 is too much, considering that it is a variation on a kitchen tool.

I figured that first burst of gain had something to do with me being a newbie and experiencing the newbie gains.

I really appreciate all your opinions. Similar to the other threads I`ve read, I can see that the opinions differ from liking it to hating it:-) I guess I have to buy one and find out for myself when I can afford it. It`s very expensive, but a bigger penis has no price IF I DO like it.
