Gain Master PE Software Release!!!

Hi Iguana

I downloaded and installed the software - nice work and looks like it could be very useful. Are the starting measurements in inches? For the metric based among us it might be useful to be able to choose between inches and centimeters :-) Nevertheless you get a thumbs up from me. Thanks for sharing.

I would suggest maybe adding a good spell checker. Overall, I’ll give you an A+. Keep up the good work!

You are most welcome!

I’m glad you asked this question. You should not enter anything into this box. It will add an entry automatically. This is the ID field that identifies the exercise with the routine. For example, if your routine is Routine #2, all the exercises in the protocol section with have ID 2. If it’s Routine #3, they will all have ID 3, and so forth.

One bar represents one exercise. I would set them up weekly, as you will have a ton of entries if you do them daily.
You have the option under “Days On” and “Days Off” to specify which days you do them.

Hope this helps!

Yes, I would do them in inches. I THINK metric would work also. The fields and calculations are simple mathematical computations.
The only thing that might be an issue is some of the calculations use PI. I’m not sure if PI is expressed the same in cm as inches.
Maybe one of you math gurus could enlighten us?

Hi, I downloaded your Gain Master program then stuck my penis in the floppy drive and typed in my goals. No gains yet. Seriously though, I didn’t want to download and use it without saying thanks for your hard work, skill, and the numerous hours put into making it. Looks like a great program. Thanks.

Rod, you are very welcome! I hope you enjoy it and it proves very useful in your PE endeavours!

Finally! I’m so glad to see that you’ve unleashed this wonderful program upon the TP community, Iguana! I was waiting very patiently. I am currently downloading it, and will be using it soon.

I’ll let you know how I go.

Thanks again!

Now: (August 20 2007) 6.6" BPEL x 4.81" EG. Half way towards my goal! | Current Stats

Short term goal: (3-4 months) 6.8" BPEL, 5.0" EG.. Long term goal (1+ yr): 7.5" BPEL, 5.5" EG.

Hmm, I seem to have run into a problem trying to download Runtime.

I was 6% of the way through my download when I made my post, but I paused it so that I could load the screenshots.

When I tried to resume, I got an error saying the link doesn’t exist, and my download failed.

I thought ‘no big deal, I’ll just start the download again’. However, when I try to download it again, the site tells me the file is not found, so I can’t even start it again. Is there any alternate link I can download Access Runtime 2007 from?

Ok, nevermind that. I downloaded both Access Runtime 2007 and the GainMaster prog.

However, I have a NEW problem. Everything is seemingly installed and good to go, but when I try and load gainmaster, I get this error:

“The operating system is not presently configured to run this application.”

Then I push OK and nothing happens.

Thoughts?

P.s. Sorry for my triple posting.

EDIT: I should probably point out that my operating system is windows XP professional.

Thank you - I’ll download that and check my progress with your program.

Thank allot

It’s a wonderful program, but please what is BPLEL stand for ? Ididn’t find it in the Glossary.
Another thing, the Routine ID, I can’t change it, it had a (11) value only. Why ??

Nick, did you have MS Office on your PC before installing? If so, what version?
It sounds like a conflict with an older Office version.

Almuhjjar, BPLEL stands for Bone Pressed Lazy Erect Length. This is not your maximum erect length
but what you might have on a typical day (say 90-95%.)

As far as the Routine ID goes. I took a look and realized I forgot to reset the auto-number feature on this field.
The number really doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a reference number. You will really want to go by your Routine Name
for reference purposes.

BUT… for all you guys who are anal retentive, like me. I have attached a corrected copy.
This one will start with a Routine ID of 1. Just uninstall the old one and install this copy. Sorry for the mistake.

Yes, I have MS Office 2003.

What should I do?

Nick, this problem can have several different causes and therefore there are several possible solutions.
Some of these might be a pain so it’s up to you if you want to tackle. I think in this case a .dll from Office 2003
is conflicting with one installed by Access Runtime 2007.

We will try the easy ones first and get more aggressive if necessary.

The first thing to try is to locate this file:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE11 for mso.dll.
Right click on the file, Look at the security, set it to “inherit from above”.

If that doesn’t work, do you have MS Access 2003 installed with Office?
If so, try removing it and see if Gain Master will run.

Next, try completely removing Gain Master & Office 2003. Reinstall Gain Master first and then reinstall Office 2003.

Hopefully, one of these will solve your problem, if not let me know and we’ll try some other stuff.

-Iguana
