Goodbye....at least for a while

I’ve reached the end of the road, at least for the foreseeable future. A severe plateau, coupled with some extenuating circumstances in my life, has forced my PE retirement – or at least a very extended break.

After having begun this journey in August of 2002, the overall tally isn’t very encouraging:

· 1ST 5 months: about 1” BPEL & 0.8” EG (mid-shaft)
· Next 15 months: about 3/8” BPEL & 0.11” EG (mid-shaft)

I have a business project which I am now heavily involved with; after it’s completion, I have another proposal that will also require too much time & effort to allow me to continue spinning my wheels at this. In addition, I’m suffering the painful lingering effects of a recent fall, which injured my back.

And so, I want to sincerely thank everyone here who has contributed to the advancement of natural PE; and, most of all, Thunder for creating this great forum. I suspect that I will make a “comeback” eventually, as I would still like to nail my goal someday. But I don’t see that happening for a number of months – at least.

Anyway, take care & best wishes to all…hoping for your continued success. You’ll probably be hearing from me again before too long.

I think we will all be poorer for you leaving. We may not have always seen eye to eye, but my respect for you is of the highest level.

Think of the positive. When you do return, you will truly be a newbie again, so perhaps you can look forward to another 1” gain in 5 months. Hope I’m still here to see it happen.

Well, this sucks. Wad is one of my favorite posters. Aside from his sharp wit and intelligent approach to PE, the man has that rare earnest quality that draws you to his writing - you know you’re going to be getting some truth when Wad clicks the “post reply” button. I understand and support his need to move on, but it sucks nonetheless.

Sorry to hear of this decision.

You’ve been around here quite a while, and have contributed many good posts. I am always sad to see senior guys slip away, for whatever reason.
