Now my stats are ready :) .

Index to Thumb: 15.2cm
Middle to Thumb: 16.7cm
Hand length: 19cm

Ratio index->thumb= 15.2/19 = 0.8
Ratio middle->thumb= 16.7/19 = 0.878

Not too big, not too small.

But those are man’s hands, female hands are way smaller. And also my index to tumb grip is 6”, then maybe with 6” most girls won’t be able to close the grip without squeezing hard.

I’m already considering increasing it from 5.75” to 6”. :D

So Hand Anthropometry (The measurement of hands), is sort of an interesting field. It’s hard to find raw data, but there’s a lot of data. Most studies only show no more than 125 and although their mean and ends might differ a little, the consensus is basically the same as the image of the chart listed in the first post.

What does that mean? Between the 5th and 95th percentiles of female hand length (16.5, 18, 19.7), their Index to Thumb grip would end up being 13.3cm (5.2in), 14.5cm (15.7in), and 15.9cm(6.3in) respectively. That’s great! To get 90% of the population, we just need a 15.9cm (6.3in) girth!

Now for Index to Thumb grip it would end up being 14.7cm (5.8in), 16.0cm (6.3in) and 17.6cm (6.9in)

I think that in the last post you meant middle to thumb in the last part. So it is safe to say that with 6-6.3” MSEG almost all girls won’t be able to close the index to thumb fingers together YAAAAAY. Go statistics.

Haha, yes. I was trying so hard not to screw up with doing cm’s and inches. C’est la vie. I was microseconds away from making an edit. Seriously Thunder, half an hour or an hour of edit time wont kill (and might actually help) the quality of posts.

I think at this point adding more data wont alter these numbers very much, but who knows. Index ratio seems to stay between 0.8 and 0.84 with outliers being 0.76 and 0.79… Middle to Thumb ratio fares even better with a single 0.86 outlier and the rest being between 0.88 and 0.92.

Right now the calculations are against our average Ind->Thumb and Mid->Thumb ratios, who’s to say how big we’d have to be for a female with a hand in the 95th percentile AND a grip in the 95th percentile… I think to do that more accurately though, we’d need more results. As it stands though!… yes I did the calculations and *drumrolls*:

For a female with a hand in the 95th percentile and an Index->Thumb and Middle->Thumb grip ALSO in the 95th percentile, you would need to be 6.5 inches (Index-Thumb), or 7.1 inches (Middle->Thumb).

Really despite needing more data, I want to close this subject (personally) as it’s fairly settled in my mind that 17.5 cm of girth is perfect. There’s a few things we haven’t touched based on, one of those things being gripping things based on various elliptical shapes, the other being hand sizes of various races. I mean, if you really want to feel like a king, you have a better chance of feeling so by dating a Vietnamese?

Nice! but 6.5” MSEG isn’t too much? I mean, it would have to be a lady with VERY big hands. I am a male (as fat as I know LOL) and there is no way in hell I can ok grip a 6.5” girth object.

Index to Thumb: 13.6cm
Middle to Thumb: 14.5cm
Hand length: 20.2cm

Ratio index = 13.6/20.2 = 0.673
Ratio middle = 14.5/20.2 = 0.718

My ratios are funny. Normal-ish length hands, small gripping girth. Should be really soon when I can’t grip my member :D

There is no male that’s stepped up to the plate that has been able to perform a middle finger okay grip past 17.1cm (6.73in)… Clearly only at that size or larger you’re safe. attached an image of the results for fun and profit?

It's strange that I'll spend a morning doing this, I mean I don't even know why I do it anymore. Maybe it's because I want to continue some sort of false legacy to add to that behemoth of a spreadsheet. Maybe it's my fascination with the discussion here, as, it's so rare I do PE these days… and it's so rare I actually care about my size. But I figure, people want to know some things, and all I want to do is remove guesswork and provide those answers.

I'd love to see studies, a lot of them, but, while I care about the subjects health, perhaps I don't care about their comfort and wellbeing. If I could grab 500 people at random against their will (with no opt-out), inject them with an erection inducing drug (to support full erections), then measure them. I would. I'd pay for that. It's kind of too bad there's laws in place for this kind of stuff. I kind of wonder about how our Group Mentality of Morals hinder progress in the scientific field. Stem cells seem powerful, they're testing some that can potentially cure my father of an otherwise uncurable disease, but damn if people hate the idea of killing fetuses.
