Eh.
It could be that you measured correctly, but you are a bit out of range (hence the flag). I’ll try to re-explain how to measure your Grasp.
- Find a cylindrical object that you can make an ok-grip around with the tip of your index and thumb barely touching. Be sure that you have a firm (but not super tight grip on this object and that your index and thumb remain barely touching.
- Put the cylindrical object down and measure the circumference (girth) of the cylindrical object where you had your fingers. Record that measurement.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2, but instead of using your Index Finger, use your Middle finger. You will likely need to find another object.
- With a ruler, measure the length of your hand from the base of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger. Record that measurement.
After that, it’s a matter of doing the math. Or you can write down those measurements, because my spreadsheet does the math automatically.
index_to_thumb/hand_length = Index finger ratio
middle_to_thumb/hand_length = Middle finger ratio
Again, it may be that you’re measurements are fine, and it’s entirely possible that you’re so out of range. But something doesn’t add up.
Size is little more than a controllable perception without an accurate means of measurement.
