Happy Birthday DW !!

Where’s that other dude? You know Roussie.

DW did anyone clean up the burnt cake mess?

Well, just to make your day KP, here I am! :spin2:

I’m just catching up on the latest, chocolate cake? chocolate log! Of course it wasn’t either of those, DW says there was no cake (which sounds a bit odd), but if there had been a cake, heck we could keep things going for ages, with a sort of spin-off from Guess the Member, I’m thinking we could call it Guess the Cake! with a sequel to follow Who's seen the Missing Cake?

Mind you, we wouldn’t necessarily want to let that minor detail get in the way :noreally: , so it would be my turn to go now.

Just one last little check to see if I can spot an empty cake box lying around.
Nope! :cya: Nope!

I think it was a Victoria butter sponge sandwich, with vanilla flavoured butter icing (not too sweet) and strawberry jam (seedless), the whole thing totally plastered with a disgusting shade of fuchsia pink icing and the lettering in midnight blue, definitely. It would have said something very like:- Happy 29th Birthday Wishes to the Gorgeous Miss DiamondWinds, from all your friends in The Dive. We’re talking a biggish square cake, but not quite big enough to fit all that on, especially The Dive bit which was actually taking a bit of a dive over the edge, so it was very hard to make out what it said.

Crikey! I nearly forgot, the candles were a total rip-off! Would you believe that one was shorter than the others and there was a tell tale hole  , where one had either fallen off, or probably sunk right into the middle, where anyone could easily have eaten it by accident!
%-\

That’s what I think it was anyway and I’m usually fairly good at guessing.

Even if I say so myself! :gulp:

Actually I think it was a Napolean. A real Napolean made with real rum and real custard, not instant pudding. Instant pudding leaves a grit on the roof of your mouth. Imitation rum extract taste like a heap of bad vapors, bitter really bitter.

Are we not a body of growing members?

A Napolean does sound very tasty KP and I could certainly help myself to one of those :mwink: , if there was ever one left lying around unattended.

A good guess though, but wide of the mark and if you don’t believe me, don’t bother to ask, well Tit for sure, nor DW :noreally: , she never saw a cake of any description, remember!

Now read my lips :eat: That’s Victoria butter sponge sandwich in my cookery book.

Definitely! :gulp:

Happy, happy, be-belated birthday, DW! I hope I’m still late and not yet early. I’m personally not a year over 29 either (now, is that Mars or Jupiter years? :-k ).

Enter your measurements in the PE Database.

Trouble is, With Rue’s cook book everything has a large helping of Guinness in it.

Unfortunately, some one left the cake out in the rain and…

I don’t think that I can take it

And I’ll never have that recipe again
Oh, nooooo

Spring was never waiting for us dear
It ran one step ahead
As we followed in the dance

MacArthur’s Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, green icing flowing down
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don’t think that I can take it
‘cause it took so long to bake it
And I’ll never have that recipe again
Oh, nooooo

I recall the yellow cotton dress
Foaming like a wave
On the ground beneath your knees
The birds like tender babies in your hands
And the old men playing chinese checkers by the trees

All the sweet green icing flowing down

Excuse me, but sorry, I beg to differ! It was perfectly all right when  !

My SSI, you nearly tricked me there into admitting to something, I couldn’t possibly have done, :noreally: I was doing something else at the time, that would be on the phone to The Guinness Book of Records, returning a call don’t you know. Apparently they got wind of some rumour doing the rounds, about the longest Birthday bash ever and crime was involved.

Dreadful isn’t it? I of course divulged all for a fee in kind. I fully dropped KP & Tit right in it, I’m afraid, so that’s the last we’ll be hearing from them, I shouldn’t wonder. They’ll be found in the History of failed composers section, class A, KP first alphabetically and Tit second, or last, pretty much the same thing. Cake and the lack thereof, was never mentioned!

Btw, I screwed them for a years supply :gulp:

:-Y Nice big effort there Super and DW will simply love it, but I’m afraid it will go unrewarded from this quarter, for I’m in one of my selfish moods, burp!! and here’s me swimming in the stuff.

Dreadful isn’t it? :gulp:

:-Y I say Rodney, don’t you think you should be telling that to The Guinness Book of Records :leftie:

I would, but I’m a bit busy right now clearing some space in the cellar :gulp:

:rolling: Very good Rodney!

Though strangely enough, that wasn’t exactly what I had in mind!

Is “clearing some space in the cellar” the same as “taking the kids to the pool for a swim”?

In other words, does it mean the same as “laying some cable” or “dropping a duece”?

Yeeeeeeeeeaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgh! ~Howard Dean Illustrations & Diagrams PE -- What's it all about? Read this.

Yet, in the little silly town I live in, brings a delima. The natural gas line runs under ground through, do we get to use the natural gas, nooooo!. An cable for cable tv runs through it, do we get to have cable tv. Noooo!@. The fiber optic cable runs through it, do we get dsl, noooo!. We live in the middle of three sizeable reservoir’s , do we get any of the water for irragation, nooo! And for a town that has about 800 hundred people we can hear the ambulance at six times aday because the powers that be will not put in signal lights at an intersection that is blind on three sides.
