Heat Clamping

We all know that heat (about 110 F) will soften connective tissue. Several years ago I introduced to this board the idea of wrapping a heating pad around the cylinder of a penis pump. It really works well and lessens the chance of thrombosed veins. Today I introduce heat-clamping. It is only logical to expect some advantages.

(1) Fold a heating pad into the shape of a cylinder and secure the shape with a rubber band, tied washcloth, or as I use, an elastic wrist band. Turn heating pad on to low heat setting. (2) Get an erection and insert it into the cylinder made with the heating pad. Warm for 2-5 minutes. (3) Remove penis from heating cylinder. Apply clamp and get 110% erection. (4) Re-insert slightly lubed penis back into the heating pad cylinder. For 10 minutes, gently “Hump” the heating pad cylinder to warm penis and to maintain 110% erection. (Actually feels kind of nice). Do several sets as you do in your regular clamping routine. (5) On the last clamping set be sure to chill the penis for 2 minutes to cement the gain. Wrap a cold gel-pac or package of frozen peas around penis to chill. Believe this wild take clamping to another level. PS - I really love Monty’s air clamp. Makes things so much easier. MXL

How does the chill work? How does it cement your gains?
Thanks, Jack

Started PEing 09/2005 Took a 2 year break. Thinking of restarting.

cementing

There is a reason for hot wraps. Connective tissue softens and is more easily stretched at 110 degrees F. So we warm up to do our various PE exercises. But even warmed and stretched connective tissue has some tensile memory and has a tendency to shrink back to its original length when left to its own. So while it is still elongated from PE, we cool the connective tissue down to a lower temperature to where it is not as elastic. This hardens the tissue like it normally is at body temperature. But we are hardening it in its stretched out configuration rather than its smaller normal configuration. If you don’t do this step, your softened tissue will gradually shrink back to near pre-exercise dimension, gradually cool, and harden at normal body temperature. So we cool it to make it harden bigger rather than let it gradually cool and harden smaller on its own. MXL

If I ever start clamping again (which may happen after I’m happy with m length) then I’ll try this out. Though I’m not totally sure where to get all the materials.

One alternative to the heat pad is one of these Hot & Cold Compression Wraps . It’s a gel-pack that fits in a fabric sleeve, with a foot or so of stretchy wrap with velcro at the end to keep it in place. I put it in the microwave for 40 seconds or so, and wrap it around my clamped penis. It only touches about 2/3rds to 3/4s around the shaft, so I turn it a little during the session to warm up everything.

MXL,

This sounds like a great idea. Do you have a heating pad with a temp gage or are you estimating 110 degrees?

temperature estimation

Body temperature is almost 99 degrees F. Hot tubs are around 100. The heating pad feels much hotter than a hot tub. So it must be near 110. I put it on low setting, insert my erect, clamped unit, then raise the temperature setting to as high as I can comfortably take. I am sure it is around the optimal temperature. I did a survey of research a few years back and found out that around 110 F is optimal for softening tough connective tissue. Using heat today my girth went up to 6.5” (my record so far). I can not help but believe that length gains can come from this, too. MXL

Oops!

I just discovered that this idea (heat clamping) was introduced back in February by some other members of this site. Sorry guys. But it is still a great idea. MXL

Magnum,

I think we all stumble on ideas that are new to us, but not to the forum.

I bought a heating pad a couple of weeks ago and use it when I pump. I’ve found the heat gives greater expansion with virtually no doughnut effect. I enter the cylinder as hard as I can and then wrap the heating pad around the cylinder or let it rest under the cylinder. The heating pad provides a quick means of warming up prior to any session of PE too. I was amazed that a $12.00 purchase would make such a difference.

Titleist

Yep!

I agree. I do the same thing. And I havn’t had a thrombosed vein since using a heating pad. Heat is the key! MXL

Where do you buy such small heat pads that plug in? The only thing I’ve ever seen are electric blanket’s.

Heating Pads

Got mine at Walmart in the pharmacy section. K-Mart, Target, etc. in the pharmacy area. MXL

Are they like Knee wrap heat pads or arm? I’ll have to look for them.

heat Pads

They are about 10 X 15 inch rectangles. Made of plastic, have a removable cloth covering, plug in with a cord that has high, medium, and low settings. About $20 or less. Can use them on an aching back. MXL

So the plastic can bend pretty easy then I take it? I’ll buy one once I’m ready to start clamping again and try the hot and cold theory. Though that may not be for awhile.
