Hey everyone,
Again, can’t thank you enough for helping me out by posting. The bigger the database is, the better the results as they will be more realistic. I am posting some data analysis right now, just to sort of show what type of things that can be calculated (I won’t do graphs right now though, as there are only 25 measurements in the data base at the time of this posting).
*Bear in mind that there is not much data yet, so I do not feel this data shows an accurate representation of reality…yet:) *
Height
Average: 70.69465” or 5’10.69465”
Median: 71”
Standard Deviation: 2.668777”
Variance: 7.12237
Erect Length
Average: 6.64644”
Median: 6.65”
Standard Deviation: 0.687766”
Variance: 0.473022
Erect Girth
Average: 5.03534”
Median: 5”
Standard Deviation: 0.485916”
Variance: 0.236115
I have also calculated the correlation coefficients between the data. With a larger database, this will allow one to say whether or not their is a relationship between one thing and another. The closer it is to 1, the more the relationship, and the closer it is to 0, the less the relationship. Again, I highly recommend not trusting any of this data until the database is much larger.
Correlation Between Length and Girth: 0.514644
Correlation Between Height and Length: 0.573097
Correlation Between Height and Girth: 0.128882
I think the coolest tool for displaying statistics are graphics, as it allows patterns and relationships to be more easily shown. I will include such devices when the database gets larger, but for now, as I don’t have that many yet, I just put up some numbers.
Please, if you have any ideas as to what else can be done, feel free to post and I will see what I can do. Thanks again to everyone who has given their statistics!
