Sciman was the guy I couldn’t think of.

It was a mess. Every even thread was a debate on the permanence of gains. Every odd thread was a picture of a horribly over pumped cock.

When I found a link to Tom’s site, I never looked back.

So is it?

1) Tom started a forum
2) Tom gave it up and handed it over to sciman (did it later turn into a pumping forum?)

Or am I wrong about this?

Something or other, then a few guys ended up on EZ Board?

Fill me in here. A this, that, then the other chronology would be nice.

Tom’s forum closed right after Sciman opened his version (the original I think) of PE Forums. Newart was and still is a pumping forum, they peddle pumps and such. The old Bib posts that are in our archive came from Sciman’s forum, although he might have bailed out of running it by the time of Bib’s posts. Dates I am not sure of. There is a lot of Sciman’s forum in the wayback machine that they don’t even show, but once inside the forum a lot of the links still work. Most are not indexed by the wayback thingy though.

No, the pumping forum was on line back in 98’. I think sciman took over Hubbard’s forum a few years latter. In all honesty, I forgot about sciman and remembered BA taking the reins from Hubbard.

I think Big Al took over from Sciman and then the forum was moved to EZboard. Hacking started right after the move from what I remember reading. I joined there in July of 2000. Size and a hand full of other members here were already on PE Forums. Thorne, Taz, Size, UIShrike, hell I forget who else.

Sciman’s resignation post was still in the wayback a couple of years ago I think.

Is it too hard to put in order? I want to write something for inclusion here, and part of it deals with how all this crap started. I’d like to get it right.

2) so and so did or quit this
3) it became this
4) so and so started participating
5) the so and so from #4 took over or did this, that or the other thing
6) whatever, and so on

I don’t remember exactly how far back Dino goes but unless I am crazy, he gave EZboard an earful over the hacking. OK, I remember Big Al taking over. I also remember a hacker erasing the whole forum and replacing it with a singe post with a picture of a small flaccid under Big Al’s name. For awhile after that, his user name was, “Big Al The REAL one” or something like that.

If you’re talking to me, the Wayback is nice. I’ve used it before. But without knowing which URL’s I’m supposed to be searching I can’t do much with it.

I don’t need exact dates, just a this went to that and so on kind of thing would be great.

Sure it is now, that they figured out a way to eliminate the popups and bugs. It can still give you a big headache because of the incompleteness of what they have archived and indexed. Search Main here for “wayback” and Sizemeister. The oldest post should give you a link to get started.

Sciman was in there somewhere.

Eventually Big Al took it over. Did BA move it to EZ Board?

Attackers took the EZ board down several times.

EZ Board was moved by Thunder and Sizemeister to “PE Forums” under its own domain on a shared server. Somewhere along the line the domain ownership and server bill was handed over to BA.

During the latter part of all this, Thunder’s Place originated.
