How dangerous is clamping?

Ahh no, 2 x 10 min clamps before the kids get up then hit the beach.

Clamping is very dangerous, very easy to blow something out. I used to do it fully erect and then do bends and squeezes the pressure was intense, several times I just managed to get the clamp off in time before I hurt myself bad. Unless you’ve been at it a long time I don’t recommend clamping.

I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. Thomas Edison (1847-1931)

I am new to clamping but t he way to do it following the theory is that you get more expansion with lesser erection , so with wrap I am in the fourth click and blood flows in and I get more full as the session goes with no erection.

Don’t clamp to tight , it’s like pumping at 12 hg… dumb completely

I have never clamped. I am scared of it.

BPEL 7 EG 5.5 NBPEL 6.5 Flaccid length 4.5. Started Jan 2015 at bpel 6.5 nbpel 6.0 and eg 5.2 flaccid length was 3.5

I have reached my goal. At least for now.

Am off base with my logic… with all respect due to the people that have lived here at thunders forums I am humbly asking for your opinion

Rule is to ease into anything new. You can clamp in a way that is healthy if you do it right(enough experiences and instructions out there)

Clamping has to be monitored constantly, especially when erect.

I used to clamp but found after a while that I was losing erection quality during sex.

Its very important not only to monitor while clamping, but also for shifts in physical indicators after the fact, such as erection quality and blistering and on-going soreness.

Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

Clamping is safe if you do it with your brain, read all of the appropriate instructions and guidelines that are out there, and you listen to your body when you are doing it. Also, importantly, you should progress up to it slowly! Don’t just jump into clamping if you are a newbie. Make sure you are properly conditioned before clamping and work up to it by testing yourself with ulis and erect squeezes.

Clamping for me is the holy grail of girth gains.

Agreed!

My biggest problems with clamping was discoloration and that my base grew faster than the rest of my already tapered dick. I stayed away from clamping and countered tapering effect with Ulis, Squeezes and Bends on the upper half. All discoloration went away after 4-6 months.

I have read that clamping can cause discoloration, but I only thought that was during and not long after the sessions. How bad does that get and what kind of discoloration is it? I would like to clamp in the future if it does help with base girth!

Anyone else had bowel issues after clamping? I thought I had appendicitis and went to the doctor. One question he asked was it tight around the base if my penis?

Diagnosis was I was a bit blocked up but after a week off the two clamping sessions it is back?

Any ideas?

Why would he ask that? Did he give any idea why a tight base makes bowel issues?

It can strain the abs.
Also you might react to the clamping in tensing up your pelvic floor which might influence your bowel indirectly too.
Just dont get too tight and try to relax into it.

No, he gave no reason, hence why I asked here. I wasn’t about to say yes there is a bit if tightness with a clamp applied.

But it has me wondering. What happens behind the clamp? Is it getting tight? After all the blood enters from the base and is restricted from leaving by the clamp? So I suppose it is tight?

I’m going to clamp mid shaft and see what happens.

I have the suspicion that some of the effects from clamping can be attributed to the effects that have been well documented scientifically in the domain of Blood Flow Restriction Training:

This makes it likely that it is not so dangerous, as we might perceive it, after all.
Its just a matter of warming up the tissues and being careful about the pressure.

Controled and monitored clamping is not dangerous … at least not as much as anxiety. With too much anxiety, anything you do will wreck you up.

Cannot wait to get back to clamping. Before I overtrained myself due to anxiety, used to clamping. Very addictive PE exercise, even more than pumping.

Will be back when the time is right, that is for sure.
