How do you keep golf weights on

Let me give you a couple of principles here.

1. If you wrap too tight your glan will swell and become very achy and might become quite dark in color. If this occurs then the corrective action is to unwrap, jelq a few times to get color back and then re-wrap.

2. If you feel any discomfort at all the best thing to do is re-wrap. What I’ve found is that the discomfort NEVER gets better. It is just wise to re-wrap and start over.

3. A little numbness is natural when your hanging weights and constricting with a wrap . If your glan is staying cool to the touch and is slightly dark your OK. I’ve remained in this condition for hours with no problem. When you feel the achenes and swelling that is different. Remember that numbness is created by the nerves being stretched inside of their sleeves. This goes away almost right away during the re-wrap. When your stretching things the nerves need to grow also so at first you may feel a little numb but as you have found that is very localized and a temporary condition.

You have to excuse me if my words don’t make so much sense at the moment, I’m hanging and right in the Fatigue zone.AAAArrrgghhhh.

I will try that, but I do wrap sort of under the glans a good inch or so back, and the weights are as far back as possible.

I’m around 4.5 flaccid so there’s enough room for around 3 maybe 4 weights with a clamp just under the glans.

I’m only using 2 weights at the moment when this happened. (The numbness).

I’m worried that it will come off when running or weight training.Maybe if you tie string to it all and tie it to a belt around your waist underneath your shirt if it comes off it won’t fall out of your shorts?

You guys that go running with your weights on. I don’t know I think your just gluttons for punishment. lol

When I’m all loaded up and have to negotiate a flight of stairs it’s not something I try to do with gusto because the kinetic energy going down each step is a wake up call that the weights are definitely on. Running with them on? Seems like self abuse. I got on my treadmill the other day loaded up. I wasn’t running but just a fast walking pace (3.5 mph). That in and of itself was testimony that I don’t want to jog with these things. The pounding would have to equal a 20 pound hanging session. I know that my wrap technique is probably better then any of you and I know that my shaft would be suffering from the rings turning the wrap into junk and my glans would be sucked into a little ball. Can’t say as I blame you for wanting to tie a string around things, I would be worried too that things would be falling off.

Guess I’m just a wuss.

I hate wrapping with theraband. It’s too difficult. I finally decided to improvise so I came up with this method using my 3 golf weights, my magnetic anchor weights and one of my Xsleeves.

Warm-up really good and do some overhand jelqs for about 10 minutes.

Apply a small amount of lube or baby powder to the penis to make the weights slide on easily.

Put on the Xsleeve and leave some slack at the end for the Anchor weights.

Apply the desired # of golf weights. Pull the penis through, stretch it out as much as possible then slide the weights down as far as possible (Ideally to the pubic bone).

Put on the Anchor weight, then roll the extra Xsleeve over the clamp. This helps prevent slippage.

I’ve been using this method for several days and it’s a comfortable ADS. I just take it off when I have to urinate. With practice it shouldn’t take more than 3 minutes to put on. Just take off the golf weights slowly or apply some warm water to make it easier.

A thick cloth (depending on your girth of course) and a cable clamp is IMO the best way to attach the golf weigts.

Zero circulation problems and very easy to take on and off.

I also used a Xleeve combo before mine broke, but this method is MUCH better.

My golf weights should be in tomorrow. I actually have a wrap that has a piece of velcro on the end. Do you think that will work as a substitute for the tape? I’m also thinking of putting a wrist band around the edges of the velcro so that it doesn’t scratch me up as I walk around all day.

So I have my golf weights and it appears that I don’t need to use any wrapping at all. They stay in place all day. I can even pee with them staying on!!!

I am the same way….but trust me, you may not need wrapping but you need some form of an end stop whether it’s a clamp or tensor wrap. I use one of me wife’s hair scrunchies and that works well. They eventually will slip off for any number of reasons without an end stop of some kind.

I beg to differ on this one ddolphin. I went for a run with em on just to test it. Mission accomplished!!!! They didn’t fall off at all. I had them on for about 9 hours today with being on my feet all day walking around. Trust me when I say that was my main concern even considering this with me being in the corporate world.

Talcum powder can/might be dangerous. I almost used it when I first began using lead weights. If you refer to the wiki article, under the section titled "Safety," you will see what I mean:

Talc - Wikipedia

Instead, use baby powder or some other dehydrating powder than can be easily found in your local convenience store.

I’ve always considered that Talcum powder and Baby powder were the same except for the fragrance.

From wiki:
In 1993, a US National Toxicology Program report found that cosmetic grade talc caused tumors in rats (animal testing) forced to inhale talc for 6 hours a day, five days a week over at least 113 weeks, even though it contained no asbestos-like fibers.[7] Scientists have been aware of the toxicity of talc since the late 1960s, and in 1971 researchers found particles of talc embedded in 75% of the ovarian tumors studied.

I’ve always used J&J Baby powder. I guess that’s why I’m not dead from lung cancer or ovarian tumors. Boy am I lucky :rolling:

I’m sorry there are so many things out there that are just over the top scary stuff. We all die from something and I’m not going to go around kicking myself because at 90 years old I’m dieing from a cancerous tumor that I acquired from using a powder sometime in my life. Seems like it’s more practical to increase our Bioflavanoid intake to get rid of free radicals.

Indeed.

Actually, the reason I researched it is because you mentioned its use and I had no idea what it was (never heard of it before). I read about it online in order to find out where it could be purchased.

There’s just no need to choose it over normal baby powder, so I thought I’d let people know.

I wonder what the percentage of users to those that died of using talc was or is? Seems like talc was used for scores of years. Perhaps I was to young to remember all the headlines about the numerous deaths from using talc.

Is there anything left in this world that wont cause death or disablement? Look I know what your saying is probably true. I also know that we have to live in this world and if you eat french fries your going to die. So what do we do?

I get so tired of the chicken little approach to life. The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

Get a grip folks.

It may be safer to use Corn starch but I’d be willing to bet that 99% of all baby boomers had talc used on their bottoms when they were wearing diapers and we don’t read of us having anal cancer or our dicks falling off.

This is so off topic. I’m done
