How does a shower and grower penis differ at the cellular level?

It’s only logic in as much as it is deduced from personal experience and knowledge; I spend the majority of my days working with injured ligaments and tendons. Research into the less understood aspects of them is what brought me to Thunder’s in the first place (not the search for a bigger dick).

Because the penile ligaments do not connect and stabilise two adjacent bones, and the collagenous tissue of the tunica, corpora etc. does a different job to similar tissue found elsewhere in the body, it behaves differently. Relatively little research has been done into it - I was researching the abdominal aponeurosis when I stumbled across Thunder’s, realising that the penile tunica may have a similar construction. As so little research has been done, I do not claim to know everything about the responses of the penile tissues to load; that’s primarily what keeps me here. But I can safely say that shower or grower is mainly down to the elastin component of the collagenous matrix of the penile tissues.

Day to day or hour by hour variations in flaccid size probably mostly come from circulating hormones, tissue hydration level, and contraction of the smooth muscle in the penis.

I disagree. I don’t think belief has much to do with physical gains in itself. Many people, including myself, didn’t think PE would work and yet the gains came nonetheless. It was first after I proved it to myself I believed in it. Think of it the other way, achieve it to believe it. By your logic one would be limited by ones beliefs.

I does not work that way. I dare to say that although consciously you ‘did not believe’ you secretly(subconsciously) ‘hoped for it’ ;) If it was different you simply would not start to PE at all…

I don’t think hope and belief is the exact same thing. Maybe I should have used other words, I meant I had no beliefs either way, I just wanted to try it first. Besides we have free will, we can do things we don’t believe in lol :)

I PE very regularly for 21 months now. My NBPEL is about 7” ( BPEL more)

At the beginning I didn’t believe it was possible for me to gain girth. I was 4.3” in girth.

Then I understood the mechanism for increasing girth. Enlarge the tunica, pure and simple. Now I have morning wood at about 5.5” girth .

But regarding flaccid I still haven’t understood the mechanism so I can’t go for it.

Well I have to explain better. Sometimes my flaccid is longer then before, but some times is still 2” as in the locker room yesterday, and in that situation I asked to myself how it is possible that at the end of my stretching session my BPFSL is 9”. Where the hell my dick had gone?

This thread is very interesting.

Certainty is a rare thing in PE. What works for me might not work for you.. You know the deal. Stretching and then doing fowfers for the rest of the day did wonders for my flaccid length and jelqing will probably help with the flaccid girth. Fowfers is the best flaccid exercise in my opinion and you can do it anywhere, just tuck it in, it’s easy. And you do know it gets smaller when cold or when you are stressed out? When I lift weights, run, etc it gets smaller.

2” flaccid to 9” BPFSL.. Talking about elasticity, wow! It seems you have a lot of potential, I think you should be happy and don’t give up. :)

I don’t give up, for sure.

The point is that I don’t like ADS, or all that kind of passive PE exercises that don’t allow you to monitor my penis such as wrapping or Penimaster like extenders.

In this period I PE 3 days on , often I split my training in 2 sessions, and 1 days off.

Can you explain me in details how you do fowfers?

I kind of do the second version but I mostly sit and walk around. No one can see your doing it and it takes a couple of seconds to set it up or reset it. I can do it all day long. :)

I’ve been reading this topic with great interest. Based on the definitions, I am a grower and one my primary goals is to work on flaccid length. My flaccid length varies greatly, which is a problem for me. In my short time with PE, I’ve been gradually building my routine and have become comfortable with manual stretching (V-Stretch) and light hanging with a Captain’s Wrench, and I’m also jelqing. My flaccid sizes vary and I’ve made the following observations; when my flaccid size is ‘smaller’ I have a lot more ‘extra’ skin just above the glans; when my flaccid size is ‘larger’ it is definitely larger than my ‘before PE’ starting size. I believe I’m definitely ‘stretching’ the skin and starting to ‘grow into’ the new size. My confidence is high based on these early indicators that I can become a shower.
