How long can you hold stretches?

I’m new like you but it looks like you have a good routine. have you noticed any better flaccid lenght. All in all it looks like a good routine.

Power Stretch: 20 - 25sec
V-stretch: 15sec

Yea, my EQ got much better. This was obvious sometimes when my dick looked practically huge flaccid in comparison to what it looked like about 1,5 month ago. It was some good motivation. Just really can’t wait to get some really visible gains in erect state. ;)

Hi Cuban, those are some pretty impressive gains you got there, just a question about your routine. How often do you take a day off in your routine? Or do you PE every day?

Why do all of you guys have trouble with getting a good grip? I don’t see why you’d need to use any kind of aid, unless you’re stretching after you’ve lubed up.. Also, how in the heck are you getting a workout in your arms?? Are you pulling as hard as you possibly can or something? I’ve NEVER had either of these problems, not even close. I wonder if I’m doing the stretches right. My arms never get tired, maybe slightly uncomfortable, in which case I just switch hands. And it seems really easy to just hold onto my penis and pull it without losing a grip. Am I doing something wrong?

I personally started with doing 30 second holds, but I found it too difficult on myself. I don’t know if I was pulling too hard or what, but it started to get sore. So now, I just go for 15second holds. I’ll more than likely increase the time slowly as I go on. But I’m only a week into my routine.

I don’t get sore during 30 second stretches but tend to get sore with jelqing. I too, am doing the newbie routine and have only been at this for 2 weeks. No measurable gains noted yet but feel like the skin on my shaft may be getting looser.

I know, I never have a problem gripping either. Of course you can’t be lubed up or your grip will slip so I do that after if my skin is dry. And the tension you’re pulling at is only maybe 10 lbs so it shouldn’t be that hard on your arms either unless you’re pulling too hard or have no muscles. So you are NOT doing anything wrong at all!!!

I try to hit a minute with regular stretches for each direction, and at least 30 seconds for my A and V stretches. But I do multiple reps for each A and V stretch so the total time is 20 minutes. I enjoy stretching, but I’m usually on a budget for time and have to get to jelqing so I don’t do it super long.

hmmmm… I don’t actually measure the time. I try to multitask- stretch and read, browse the net, etc… anywhere from 30 sec to 2 mins, I think.

I stretch while brushing my teeth and shampoo’ing my hair in the shower =D, I brush in the shower btw.

I do believe that the original poster was wondering which time limit for stretches was more effective for gaining length based soley on evaluation of the duration, and not on grip. I know that a person’s grip endurance can affect how long they are limited to stretching, but that’s not exactly what the OP was considering.

I’m guilty of analysis peralysis, and also trying to reinvent the wheel, so I don’t have much room to talk, but I think that some links to scientific studies were posted which supported the common practice of 30 second stretches.

I’m a lost puppy that can’t decide, even after years have passed.

I rice sock while stretching. anyone else do that?

Weird! I can barely hold 25 seconds before my hand gets tired and starts to hurt, even when using toilet paper or baby powder. Once I do a few sets of 25 seconds, my hand remains tired and I’m unable to hold it for more than 20, and it progressively gets worse throughout the workout.

I am uncut, maybe that contributes to it? I’ve read several posts about stretching uncut though, and it doesn’t seem like anyone else has this issue.

What’s wrong with me and what can I do to fix it?

Just keep doing it, your hands will get stronger. I play guitar so my left hand was able to hold a lot longer than my right, but after a few months they evened out. I do about 45 seconds each pull for about 10 minutes total - your forearms will grow too!

Be present with your routine, don't just glaze over and make it a chore. Change it up at least quarterly - just like a weight workout you need to keep him guessing.
