I can’t understand how the clamp weaken you erection. Do you force the clamp as close to your pelvic bone as possible?
While edging, don’t click the clamp all the way. Try to back off a bit on the clamp to let some blood enter your shaft. Most of us kegel while edging and that is what gets the blood in the shaft, but if you edge during clamping, you need to get that blood in and if the clamp is as tight as it can go then you are, in my opinion, defeating the purpose.
If little Willie usually get too tired try 3 sets of 5 minutes, or maybe 2 sets of 7 minutes. You may be over working little Willie.
Have you asked drilla for advice? He is the one who told me that the clamp doesn’t have to be clicked all the way, but he meant during the whole exercise and look what he has between his legs, I looks like a baby’s arm.
