How do you shelter your balls? Do you use a cloth or some sort?
Firegoats method is to use a linen handkerchief type shade, which does the job well.

I know this thread is kind of dead but I’m thinking of getting an IR lamp setup. Which would you think would have greater tissue penetration? A 150w IR bulb from a pet store for reptiles vs a generic 150w IR from Walmart.
I bought a proper ir 300w heat lamp off amazon. Has a stand, timer etc. Very good. I just think you will spend more in the long run on things that are not quite right. £50 off amazon.

IR lamp is a fine thing provided it is used carefully as pointed out by members above. I personally use a blow heater. Heats the penis throughout. But it is individual choice in the end :)

They produce the same amount of heat, only difference is the color temperature. Even 150w fluoro would produce the same amount of heat, it is just spread over a large cylindrical area.
I ended up going to the local Home Depot and bought a 175w IR Heat Lamp and a clamping base for $30, pretty good deal. I plan to use the entire newbie routine under the lamp and see how it goes, I’m sure it will provide some really good results from having constant heat throughout the session. Thanks for your responses!
I also plan to use it with caution and not to underestimate it, experience is the best teacher but it can also be a painful one.
DOOD you should try a space heater with a blanket over it and you, I have a paper over my balls so they don’t fry. My grams showed me the blanket over the heater trick: it keeps the heat in really well. I almost burn my dick doing this. It’s actually too intense.
Please tell me that your Grams is not assisting you with yur PE !?!?

Lol her gas heater stopped working so she is using a electric radiator. It’s not very good so she experimented and came up with that. It’s the best way to heat ur cok! 1500w straight to the dome
Now if only someone could figure out a way of getting a far-infrared lamp setup for a decently low cost. I can’t seem to find anything for less than $150. I’d build it myself out of leds or whatever, as long as could be done for about a third of that.
I for one quite like having warm balls. Nothing better than feeling them hang low.

A brooder lamp and bulb will run you $25 bucks at Lowes. It’s good, but a pain to have to clamp the lamp all the time. I just got one from Amazon for $99 (w/bulb) and it is much easier. I also found a culinary (ceramic) “heat lamp” for $40 that might work too. For me it has been just the thing that I needed.
