It's Roussies Birthday Folks (almost)

Well the world has done it’s annual dance round that Sun thing. and here we are back again to July . Naturally most things are looking a bit older except for one extremely noticeable person who looks one must say - Ye gods I can’t say it! - Never mind we’ll brush over that - preferably with vanishing cream. Now where was I? Oh yes we’re on the 27th. Now you may think it a trifle unusual that only 364 days have elapsed rather than the usual 365 since the last time one flogged oneself (well it was quite enjoyable really) to death doing the anniversary thing. But one has one’s duty to Ahem and country.

Need I say More? Well I’d better I suppose, or I’ll never hear the end of it.

Yes Folks. Today has been chosen for the shenanigans to begin. PS. I looked that up in the dictionary and it read

Shenanigans. - DO YOU MIND! We only have queens English here! - And who could argue with that? I wasn’t sure whether that should be a Capital Q or the other sort of q but please yourself

But I digress. Now getting back to July 27. We, that is I. (I just like to use the Royal We)
Thought that for those rushing off on holiday on the Glorious 28th would like to add their condol -No not that er. - joy; for the happy day which will be Rous Oh dear we have another problem here. How do we punctuate (that’s a good word too) the possessive of Rou I mean is it Rous (plain and simple) Mmm plain possibly!! Or Rou’s or even Rous’. Oh Hell, His. Er. Where was I?

Ah yes! Birthday: (Cont.) Rather than the Glorious 2 weeks holiday later, when they pick up the reigns of the serious business of the Forum.

For those not holidaying . They are the lucky ones as they can drink R, R or R’s birthday twice. No! Don’t applaud, I’m too shy. (alright then if you must) You can of course give your best congrats in the time honoured way with a thought - No! Not will this guy ever stop. But rather like how is One going to say it viz.
