Kegel

Kegel

When you perform a Kegel and contract the BC muscle does it push blood into the CC’s or CS and Glans?

Not unless you have an erection.

Start: 6.9 BPEL x 4.9 (17,5 x 12,5 cm)

Now: 7.7 BPEL x 5.7 (19,5 x 14,5 cm)

Both, but more so into the CS & glans. But as kaan said, a kegel doesn’t move blood unless you’re erect.

Contraction of the BC muscle moves blood to the CS & glans. Simultaneous contraction of the ischiocavernosus muscles moves blood into the CC, but they are smaller than the BC and are trying to move blood into a higher pressure system, so the contribution to the amount of blood moved is smaller.

Sorry, I should have specified that I was talking about when erect although I did think kegeling while flaccid also pushed blood into the penis.
I suppose the idea of performing Kegels while flaccid then is to strengthen the BC muscle.

I asked the original question because I certainly only feel my CS and Glans inflate when I kegel.

So when we contract the BC muscle and Kegel is the Ischiocavernosus muscle also contracted without us specifically trying to, is it possible to do this in isolation if you become skilled at it?
