Oops, I meant to say ” I would be very happy to hear it”.

^^^^ As I HAVE STATED IN PREVIOUS POSTS. CONNECTIVE TISSUES, Are WHAT THE PENIS IS MADE OF!

Sorry, thunder, I have an overactive shift key.. Lol

R Dopa I like your line of thought in first post! I can easily imagine that this works. I wanted to start a thread about the towel kegel exercise but this will be fine here too. So does anyone do the towel rising exercise? The concept is adding weight to achieve results with smaller reps and muscle growth in size and strength. This sounds very clear and I wonder why this hasn’t became popular (yet)?

Woohoo I have found the thread!

Me too Dopa! Mgus suggested to give a 40 hour rest for the PC/BC/IC muscles to completly recover.

Seems reasonable, in the study I looked at it said most people go overboard with kegels. In their program they had the men only do a few sets a day with spaces between working days, like any weight lifting routine.

can you please give a link to that study? I was always interested how much kegel work is needed and what kinds to achieve the best results.

I used to do kegels daily, now I do them 2-3 days in a row with 1 day break.

It’s in the one I linked earlier, but you’ll need an institutional login or ATHENS account to view the full text. I’ll try and post the specific text here. It seems like the muscles involved in the kegel respond the same way as any other group, so rest periods with linear increases in resistance seem to be the way to go.
