Does a flacid length gain automatically equate to an erect gain? For example if you’re able to get a good stretch that’s 1/2 in or more than your normal erect lenght, will that eventually become an erect gain as well? Or do the other chambers of the penis need to be worked to catch up?

overall I think that if you note a flaccid stretch increase usually a corresponding erect increase will follow suit. However I do note that the bigger your dick the bigger the difference in flaccid stretch versus erect measurements.
(eg I started with bpfsl 1/4” longer than bpel, now bpfsl is 1/2” longer than bpel).
