Now it’s a commonly held fact that one should wait 24 hours after stretching before measuring EL.

I’ve known this for a while, but been unsure as to why. Don’t get me wrong, I know it affects the measurement, but in which way?

Do members find that they see:

a) A decrease in length
b) Back to their original size, with any recent gains not showing
c) Longer than pre-workout
d) Much longer

I don’t think this is worth of a whole poll, so perhaps just some quick answers would answer this.

Personally, if I watch porn and try to measure on a day where I’ve been stretching I get my same old 6.5” NBPEL or sometimes less. It’s as if although the erection is still hard it’s not quite there.

Perhaps something to do with a temporary weakening of the suspensory ligament?

In my stats you see I am 7.0” EL right now but after my break when I went on vaccation I lost it and are back at 6.6” which freaks me out. I have been PEing last autum as well and discovered the same thing, now a second time…

True, gains will be lost if not cemented.

But what about measurements on the day of stretching? Do they go up, or down, or stay the same?

I measure daily first thing in the morning before any PE. Out of interest I measured after my Blaster session in the morning and was longer than before my session. ICM, is this the answer you were looking for?

Hehe, not really! As in my progress report I measured for a one month progress report and I was up to 7” BPEL on the ruler, then I realised that I wasn’t counting 1/4” at the bottom of the ruler with no markings. This indicated a gain of 1/4”.

However, after a stretching workout, during that day my erections will not match that. I suppose I will have to wait till my off day and try again.

After a workout some people talk of retraction in a flaccid state. I’m not really sure if that’s relevant to this, but it does seem odd that I don’t have the pattern of increased EL after a workout.

I do however have a larger BPFSL after working out.

My EL is at least an inch shorter after an intense stretching session. My FLS is about the same, though.

Is that gained length that is lost?
