Hi All,

Sometime back I decided to do what xeno and a couple of other guys here were discussing about taking extended breaks from PE. .My last PE activity was in end october. I have done nothing but rest my dick since then. The Results: I have gained just a bit less than a quater inch and I think thats awesome.

I did PE in september on & off and the whole of october I decicated to PE. I would usually do 200 jelqs and clamping for 8mins x 5 sets every alternate day. I would hang about 10 lbs twice or once a week. Well.. thats it and I took a long break. By end november I though I was losing some gains but by end december i could see my dick hanging much bigger. My erections were much much better.

I measured 4 times a day for the past 3 days to get an average and my log tells me that im a quarter inch longer. Welldone boy.

I think I will start PE again today and do it for a month or so and then take a 12 week break

I don’t get it godof, how do you gain when you are doing nothing; what is the theory behind this?

I have certainly heard of de-conditioning breaks where the gains are made once PE is recommenced, but this is quite different. What do you put it down to?

AHhh.. I almost always overtrain my penis. I still havent learnt my lesson but my penis seems used to it now :)

Yes, this may be it. I have stopped my initial gains just by adding additional exercises. Now godofdeviltry you may want to PE lightly for 2-3 months to get additional gains because what you see may be just a result of a better erection(thanks to break). Now 2-3 months of light PE and break again.

Well.. Im not sure what it is. 1/4 of an inch is quite a bit. I think its the long break that has helped my tissues heal completely therefore making them stronger and more elastic. Remember a stronger tissue is more elastic than a weaker one.

Im back to a routine of gentle 200 jelqs 1 on 1 off depending on the time I have. clamp maybe once a week . Since I’ve started PE again my dick seems to have shrunk a bit. Maybe its the initial retraction due to stress/strain.

Gland! I dont think it is over training. After my injury about a year back I have stopped abusing my dick with excess workouts. My routine 3 months back was about the same as it is now. 200 jelqs 2 times a week and some clamping once a week. Maybe even hung once. Dont think this can be over training, IMO

I’ve been wondering what happened to you. Is that a “fresh” gain? Breaks haven’t been so kind to me, I’m glad they helped you.

I wouldn’t recommend taking ‘break’ for long periods of time. I was once at 7.125x5.125 after nearly a year of PE. Life got hectic with school and work and I completely stopped. After 8 months I had deflated to 7x4.625. It was disappointing to say the least.

However, Babbis and others have reported good gains and theyre routine centers around long decon breaks after blocks of PE.

Do a search for it.

Like Mr. Nine, breaks don’t seem to help me a lot either. I’ve tried 1-3 months breaks and they didn’t break my plateau. I think while you actively train your erection level is not as high as it normally is because of the stress and trauma your penis goes through so even if you have made gains they might be hard to see because of the slight decrease in erection quality. But when you take a break your penis heals, the stress is gone and you’ll erection quality might increase slightly again and that’s when you’ll notice the gains you’ve made during the training period before the break. But it’s just a speculation. I’ve had training periods where I didn’t measure any gains just after the period but a couple of weeks later doing nothing I measured gain all of the sudden. And when I get erect gains it feels like the erection is harder and fuller, like the erection quality has improved.

I think I may have hit a plateau myself.
I have been waking up with a reasonable sized flaccid hang but my girth has taken a hit when checking morning wood, after being very plump for some time now. Though I am doing alot of stretching and clamping.

My length seems good after increasing a nice amount on this new routine, but girth is alot thinner, especially in the morning…

Would anyone here recognize this as a plateau (I’ve been doing this routine for about 6 weeks now)?

Would it be a reasonable time to take a break?

OK, so you did gain 0.1-0.2”? You might have done too much too soon. If you are going to try deconditioning again, go with a 1 on, 2 off routine with light vacuum hanging (make your own vacuum hanger or buy monkeybars vac-extender/modified head piece, I just got mine and the quality of the sleeves are superb!).

Find a weight that feels OK (2,5-3kg should be enough) and progress in time per session. Start out with 30min hang time and up it with 5min per session. Some light jelqing and ADSing after the routine will not hurt but keep the rest days for rest.

The above worked for me for two periods and has worked for plateuers that I have “coached”/talked with. Gains will most likely be small..0,2-0,5cm for a 2-3 week period and might stop after just one period (quik4life).
