Alright, reviving an old, but hopefully useful, thread, because I’m in desperate need of a new lube.
I have only started PE a few weeks ago, but I already experienced rather bad side effects of those standard/cheap water- based lubes.
After a too intense Jelqing session, I got a really noticeable donut effect and to be save waited for a week before starting again.
Apparently, the whole swelling had caused micro fractions in the top of my foreskin, because as soon as the lube touched that region again, shit started to BURN, as if I had put a lighter to my dick. I washed it off immediately, but too late. The next morning, the donut effect was back, but with a vengeance. I am not kidding when I say the new swelling added 2 inches of width to my dick when looking down on it. The skin was stretched to the max and sweating nasty stuff through every pore along the shaft. When the swelling finally went down, the skin was extremely crumbled and started to peel off the outer layer, like skin does after an intense sun burn. The whole episode scared the shit out of me and I didn’t dare to touch my wang for 2 weeks.
Anyway, maybe it would have happened with these oils as well, no idea. All I do know is that lube stuff is never ever getting near my dick again, especially after taking a closer look at the ingredients.
So I’ll be giving this a try, but I do have a few questions regarding (long- term) use:
- Whats the best way to store the mixed oils? I never had e.g. Olive oil hang around for more than a month, does oil in general dry out/go bad over the months? Would those lube tubes with a “push-down” pump on top store things safely?
- Does the skin “get used to”/ conditioned to the oils? Like.. The body thinks “neato, enough of XYZ in the body already, no need to produce it anymore” and then you take a break and the skin turns into brittle parchment and breaks as soon as you touch it. I have read that some cremes I used to heal my foreskin had such an effect over prolonged time.
- Any changes in sensitivity of the skin or shaft? Again, some cremes I used would stick to nerve endings or whatever and reduce sensitivity (in fact, someone suggested applying that creme before sex to someone with premature ejaculation problems)
- Is it save to rub that stuff on the glans as well, especially those essential oils? I mean.. There basically is no skin and you might as well just pour that stuff down your bloodstream yourself.
Thats about it, I hope someone can shed some light on this and I did not waste my forum-post virginity needlessly
:D
