"Macrolane" injection for girth.. In the UK??

Hello Forum

I have been a member of this forum and and tried out various natural PE methods.

I can say that my erections are definitely harder. But the results I believe are scant for the effort applied. Maybe I am a hard gainer. I fully understand that Natural PE, much like Natural body-building can often be a long and drawn out affair, and I know that life is a journey and not a destination etc :-) I don’t want to incur the wrath of those against surgery with post

However there is a procedure being used by doctors in Harley Street London UK where a compound called Macrolane is injected in to the penis. It is used only for girth.

Here is an example of one of the web sites, (I am not recommending them, its just an example)

There are lots of pro’s and cons to this product and I am at this point very seriously considering trying it.

Has any one tried this Macrolane - or now I have found its chemical name - Hyaluronic acid.

If you have tried it, what’s your thoughts, who did you use? Would you recommend it, what is the good points and the bad?? etc, all the usual questions. Do you have before and after pics?

Is it used in the US?

Thanks

I’m wondering if that post in “My New Size” forum dealt with a “botched” procedure? Sounds like an interesting procedure.

From their site:

>>What to expect from fillers

The most important fact to remember about Macrolane is that the results are not permanent. Injected material is eventually absorbed by the body. You should not expect the same long-lasting results that may be gained from cosmetic surgery.

In some individuals, the results may last about 12 months; in others, the results may be maintained longer. Researchers believe that age, genetic background, skin quality and lifestyle as well as the injected body site may all play a role in the injected material’s “staying power.” However, the precise reason for the variation of results among patients has yet to be identified.

Risks related to fillers

Common injection-related reactions might occur including, erythema, swelling, tenderness, pain, bruising or itching at the injection site. The area treated may also feel hard with some possible lumpiness for a few weeks. There is a small risk of infections and a course of antibiotics will be prescribed after treatment. <<

From the site posted by kimc:

>> The filler was at times quite obvious and lumpy depending on what’s happening to your flaccid……… A sexual partner would definitely think something was wrong with it.

Erect, things are even worse. It stays in a lump at the base about 2 inches long, the rest of the shaft is just my original . At first I was 3/4 inch bigger at the base only, this reduced quickly. After a while it was just like I have a patchy soft coating around my dick - it felt totally unnatural.

So to sum up:

It collects in patches and doesn’t spread out evenly

When erect stays in a lump near the base rather than spreading out smoothly, looks very unnatural.

It’s not fixed in place and can move to a degree up and down the shaft.

It feels soft and spongy when erect.

It feels like it’s being squashed towards the base when having sex <<

It’s used a lot for facial cosmetic surgery - filling wrinkles and cheeks etc. I’ve seen the results first hand and it can be very effective …. on the face!

However …..
It only lasts about 18-24 months.
It can form nodules (lumps).
It’s expensive (a tablespoon is about $1,000)
It’s also very painful - usually a topical anaesthetic is applied and some is mixed in with the serum which is injected.
Best results are achieved after several treatments and each of these will involve about 100 injections.

How this translates to enhanced penis girth …..
It appears to be fairly safe and is widely used in the mainstream cosmetic surgery industry. The biggest risk would be from infection at the injection sites. Allergic reactions are not common.
But it is only temporary - any enhancements will dissipate within 2 years. It’s costly - you may need to kiss between $4,000-$8,000 good-bye to see any results at all. There is a possibility that nodules will form making the penis look like it has sebaceous cysts - apparently most of these will disappear without further intervention over time, but it’s not a good look nonetheless! Given the function of the penis, it could also migrate and collect or clump together …. that could look very strange! It would probably initially do wonders for flaccid size although erect it would make the penis more spongy. And did I mention the pain? I saw a guy on a TV makeover show getting it injected into his face. He was a tattooed tough-as-nails miner, but even he had to stop because of the pain.

It’s not something I’d be interested in doing - for what you get and the time it lasts, it’s too expensive. But, if you’ve got money to burn and don’t mind the fact your penis could end up looking like one of those weird lumpy Chinese vibrating dildoes for a few years, then go for it - it’s one of the relatively safer surgical options. But I personally prefer my penis without lumps! :chuckle:

The lump thing I have seen in a porno, it looked like the guys dick had a mini dick at the base inside mad weird shit I can’t watch it.

I recently seen a porn clip from Snoop Dog party. The dude had the worst doughnut that I’ve ever seen in my life. Pumping or injections, I don’t know, but it looked like a freaking hammer. Injections seem to be so uneven and hard to control. Personally I’d rather have a proportionate 6 x 5 than a dick shaped like a mallet!

Thank you all for your postings so far.

My understanding so far hasn’t moved forward very much. The posting on mynewsize is very informative and well worth reading- a direct individual who has used it. My understanding is 8-Ball was actual surgery and not Macrolane injections, please correct me if I am wrong, so that makes it difficult to make a comparison.

I am slowly drawing up a list of questions to ask the doctor when I (finally) arrange a consultation with him. The pros & cons are fairly obvious. It strikes me that this “simple” (for want of a better word) procedure would have been tried out by several men at this point and some of them would be members of Thunders. I would very much like to ask the same questions to some one who has had the injections.

But there doesn’t seem to be anyone quoting about their direct experiences of Macrolane and penis girth. It is important to know views that doesn’t improve or detract from the product or help me to make my mind up on balance to use it or not. I am trying hard not to upset any natural PE’ers who would never touch surgery.

The London Centre for Aesthetic Surgery claims it performs approximately 200 per year of enlargement procedures, I have yet to establish the proportion of Macrolane injections. I am aware that if there is something botched, that person will shout it from the roof tops, but why is there no “success” stories? Even anonymous ones? Surely that guy on mynewsize cant be the only one to have the procedure?

There also seems to be a suggestion of circumcision to avoid any migration into the foreskin.

With reference to the cost, across the board the quoted cost is GB £1600. That is almost what it costs me in council tax every year and I get the local councilor ripping me of with his expenses, bins emptied twice a month, and books at the local library ! So its seems a fair price to me to have a thicker penis.

To me the look of my penis is important, so the “even” spread of the compound is important as well as the improvement in girth. Uneven re-absorption is a worry & concern along with the look when flaccid. - apart from general safety - that is my biggest concern at this point.

I also understand there is Hyluronidase which could be used if all goes wrong big style.

Your feedback welcomed.

I have written to one of the surgeons who preforms the procedure and has taken his time to answer my questions (see below)

I would be very interested in any feed back from the forum on the answers (and if you think I should ask other questions) before I book an appointment. Dr Dennis Wolf has answered

1. Is it in effect a dermal filler? Answer - Yes it is a filler, similar to Restylane, Juvederm, Teosyl etc
2. Where is it inserted? UNDER the Bucks fascia? Answer - Yes
3. Why there? Answer - most supportive area from a connective tissue point of view
4. What stops it migrating to the glans? Answer -connective tissue
a. I have read that some people actually have macrolane into the glans. Is this advisable? Answer -No
5. Do the people who produce Macrolane suggest that such a procedure that I am enquiring about is advisable etc? Answer -It is a personal choice, the option of having the treatment is there and the product is safe to use in that area.
6. I get the impression you recommend circumcision – if yes, why? Answer -Circumcision is not necessary, but migration is a possibility, similarly with non-circumcised patients
7. Is there any problems of migration into the foreskin if not circumcised? Answer -is a possibility
8. If circumcision is required, would that be a problem for me (44 yrs old?) Answer - no, it would not
9. I have read that Hyluronidase effectively disperses the Macrolane if all were to go “wrong”. Is this correct? Answer -It dissolves the product as it is an enzyme
10. I have read that Hyluronidase can offer effects as good as Macrolane, is this true? Answer -no, it is an enzyme and hence wont give you the fill effect. Are you confusing this with Hyaluronic acid? Macrolane is a hyaluronic acid.
11. What stops the Macrolane moving freely about? Answer - stabilisation in the connective tissue. There is no 100% guarantee that it wont migrate, although it is very unlikely
12. After the procedure how “hard” would the penis feel? i.e as hard as normal but bigger or bigger but “squashy”. Answer - The product goes soft after a few weeks (2-4). It will feel soft as the rest of the tissue.
13. What is the likelihood of “lumps / clumps”? Answer -There is a possibility. One cannot give figures. It depends on each persons physiology, life style etc.
14. And if they occur what can be done about them? Answer - Hyalurondiase injected to dissolve the product
15. In general terms how “even” is the re-absorption? Answer - BLANK
16. Approx How much “width” would 50mls provide? Answer -About 3-4 cm in the flaccid state, and 1cm in the erect state
17. And on average what would be the re-absorption of this with in the by the 3rd month? Answer -Unable to say, depends on lifestyle, activity, physiology etc
18. Appearance is very important to me as well as an increase. Would less Macrolane be better at first followed by smaller top ups?? Answer -Asymmetry a possibility, not completely round. Flaccid girth is the main result.
19. What are the side effects of Macrolane & Hyluronidase? Answer -possible side effects of the procedure: erectile dysfunction, DVT, Allergic reaction, lumps, nodules, granulomas, redness, swelling, infection, bleeding,
20. Can Hyluronidase be obtained & administered by your doctors or who every does the procedure? Answer -Prescription only
21. Who do you suggest does the procedure(Dr Wolf?)How many procedures the same as I am requesting have they done in the past 12 months? Answer - There are only about 5 of us doctors that have been recently trained in this procedure. To date there have been about 30-40 procedures done in the UK as Qmed have only recently trained us.
22. Do you have any pictures before and say 2 months afterwards & testimonials? Answer -Unfortunately not
23. I am also considering “pad” liposuction to - enhance the appearance. Do you offer such and would it be advisable to be preformed at the same time? Answer - We don’t, need to source a plastic surgeon for that

What feed back can you guys offer me? Thanks

£1250 (almost $2000) for a temp. gain?? and then I have to go back and pay again? No way, screw that.

I'm pissed of with my gains and loses. I've been doing this for more than 4 years. I keep measuring wrong and the next time I update my signature you will see impressive results.

I’m the guy who had the macrolane and wrote about it on MNS, so ask me any questions you like.

Hello Scotland

I have a hundred questions!

I trust that with a handle like this you are based in the UK? Me to - Midlands.

Would you prefer me to email my questions to you and then post them on here or post them on here first?
