I never count jelqs, I just know when I have done enough to ‘work’ my penis. 100 jelqs with a tight grip or at high erection level is very different to 100 with a gentle grip or low erection level etc.

Numbers mean nothing.

What I’m curious about is the amount of force applied.
That’s hard to tell, maybe, but I bet there’s a huge difference from guy to guy.
Any thoughts?
My dick gets full of red dots if I jelq with excessive force, but you have to force that blood
into the tissue, so a certain amount of force is required.

Think about stretching to touch your toes or do the splits. Would you ease into your full range of movement and then relax into the stretch to increase it, or would you want someone to jump on you and force you down, possibly causing major injury?

You have to be sensible with the amount of force you apply; just enough to do the job is the right amount. More than that does not get the job done faster, it just causes trauma that has to heal before adaptation can take place.

Well, I have read here that some guys apply a lot of force and gain from it, and how much is “just enough”?
I guess every guy has to figure it out, but the force applied is more interesting than how many jelqs, 500 og 1000 imo.
I’ve had blood coming out of my urethra, without having applied much force.

I think it’s better to start in the light end and increase gradually, rather than applying too much force and get a serious injury.
This might be obvious to most, but we tend to think that more is better, also in terms of jelqing too hard.

That’s where PIs (Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to help growth!) come in.

Never had that happen, but I’m guessing that would be a negative PI for me.


For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

I think there is a problem that different people have dicks of varying roughness, so, while one may apply objectively little force, he will suffer negative PI, and vice versa, someone else may jelq wildly yet do not suffer at all.

600 jelqs, 3-5 seconds, 100% erect.


Past: 5-5.5" BPEL x 4.5" GIRTH

I do 20 minutes Jelqing, so around 400 strokes per session.

zomgpp - I think you maybe taking it a little to slow, are you making gains?

I don’t take too long but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I feel that proper form is important as well. 100 jelqs done properly is way better then 200 in 10 minutes done half ass IMO.

I do an hour of jelqing.
