medications an PE

This is my first post.
I’ve been doing PE IRREGULARLY for some time now.

Anybody here knows anything about the effects of these medications on the penis?

(I’m allergic, asthmatic and schizophrenic …sounds pathetic but I’m OK, and want to do PE regularly from now on)

Fluoxitine is Prozac, an SRRI antidepressant which interferes fairly often with erectile function. You might find a better drug choice. Ask your doctor about Wellbutrin; less sexual side effect although it may or may not work for you.

I’m not a doctor, but I didn’t find in my PDR specific sexual side effects for the other drugs you use. When erections are important, always quiz your doctor about the least sexually interactive drugs you can use to treat whatever. When they know this is your priority, they will usually work with you.

But keep always in mind that it is better to feel well than to have a hard-on. Concentrate on keeping your mind centered first, then on erections. Object is: to be a happy person. I think, anyway.

Celexa works pretty good too.

Hello, I just wanted to add my two cents to your question. I am schizo-affective and I take olanzapine/Zyprexa and Venlafaxine/Effexor. I have only been PE-ing for about three weeks and I have had no problems. The Zyprexa should not cause any errectile difficulties by itself, but the mental illness could. You say you are ok which is a really good thing, and I hope everything stays cool. I have spoken to my doctor about supplements though, and he says to stay away from yohimbe as this could induce a psychotic episode (rare but possible). He also cautioned me against taking any of the penis-enlargement pills because many of them contain yohimbe. This, however, is just what my doc said. Don’t be afraid to ask your doctor about anything, especially if your thinking about taking a supplement.
Also, I started on Paxil-which totally killed my sex drive, switched to Zoloft which was not any better, and then settled for Effexor. At first I thought that my sex drive was just a thing of the past, but as I get better mentally, things started to get better as far as libido and errections go. Hope this helps. Stay positive!

I’ve been noticing some good results from PEing.

My routine is close to Group A from the Experiment II:
