My worst nightmare

Women and good communication? By volume maybe.

Few women I’ve met base their conversations on fact or stay rational. Overload of emotion, flooded with information that holds no value and egocentric to boot. Simply refuse to play whatever game it is they play.

Women’s use of emotion is one of the big sources of miscommunication between men and women. Women don’t pay attention to the specific facts or even word definitions and are incensed when men don’t understand the (emotional) point of their dialog. Men nitpick at the specific facts and word definitions, trying to ignore the emotional content. The two activities are at cross purposes.

Women —— communicating emotional content, primarily
Men —— communicating facts/status/definitions primarily

Its not that men/women are not capable of using the alternate channel; its that we are wired to use the gender specific one as default.

So why state that we’re lacking in our communication, then?

By the way, my wife helped me PE. She was very fasinated that PEing works. Her help made my gains encrease rapidly
sinece I did not need privacy to exercise. So it all depends.

Women need to be exposed to the full force of their own emotions before they can adjust.

That’s why appealing to them entrenches them deeper.

Some women can deal with PE and some can’t.

And you can’t tell beforehand.

My wife is so illogical that she can barely do math, but her emotions are powerful motivators for her.

Both men and women are lacking in communication - talking right past each other. Both are at fault.

But men want to get laid, so they work very hard to learn the communication skills that appeal to women. Men spend lots of money on books and seduction seminars, etc. Men percieve that they lack the skills to communicate with women. Men’s verbal skills are certainly inferior to women’s. Women’s spatial skills are inferior to mens, but how do spatial skills get used when you want to get laid tonight? So, men are saddled with the additional responsiblity of bridging the gap.

No wonder we die young.

Yes, women have a need to hash through their emotions until it’s all done. I used to have a girfriend suddenly turn the light on in bed and make us hash through stuff - very annoying. To me it seemed pointless.

I meant logical appeal.

Emotional appeal can be effective, but you’d better back it up with action

Every time I see the title I think it will be a thread about clowns.

Oh no worries I was just making some balloon animals earlier, for the kids. Maybe when you have a kids birthday party you can recommend me, I can perform magic tricks (like bunnies from a hat), assemble an astro-jump in 5 minutes, and I drive an Ice-Cream truck. Everybody LOVES Ice-Cream. Okay thanks and don’t worry about the fire coming from the top of my head, it’s genetic! ;)
