Not another one!!!!!!!!!!

dont hurricanes sometimes increase in wind speed?

Sometimes yes Phoenix. If the hurricane hits warmer waters it can intensify, just look at Katrina. She hit Florida as a Cat 1 (same a Ophelia) and by the time it slammed into NO and Mississippi she was a Cat4/5. Normally, usually, but not always, in the Atlantic they stay where they are.

P.S. Pretend you see a pink triangle on my avatar. Fair is fair.

sunny A day without sunshine is like a day without laughter :sun:

70 mph winds have blown away my tent when I was out camping with friends so I highly doubt 85 will do any damage to your house, it’ll probably mess you and your landscaping up if you’re not careful. Don’t let your kids play outside.

2005 - BPEL 6.0"x MSEG 4.5" (BEG 4.75"/HEG 4.625")

2010 - BPEL 8.0"x MSEG 5.75" (BEG 6.5"/HEG 5.875")

Goal - BPEL 9.0"x MSEG 6.5" (BEG 6.5"/HEG 6.75")

The media is overhyping the Ophellia storm, just so they have something “Exciting” to report.

Pud. You ever been hit in the head by a coconut flying 85 MPH?

No, can’t say that I have.

Of course just because the wind is blowing at that speed doesn’t mean it can pick up a coconut and throw it at the same speed. If that was the case people would be getting hit in the head every day by 25mph flying coconuts.

Raining eagle rays

I had one crash through my window during Andrew that was probably traveling that fast. The winds were so high the Miami river was breaking over the seawall into the pool so hard that we had a spotted eagle ray swimming in our pool. There was enough rain water and seawater in the pool that the chlorine didn’t kill the little bugger for three days until we finally fished him out. A Cuban neighbor of mine finally caught him in a cast net. Not easy getting a pissed off eagle ray out of a swimming pool.

Um… I thought sneezes travelled at over 200 mph.

One need only leave the surface of the planet to realize we are all one people.

I rip farts 85mph. And the worse damage i’ve ever done is blow a coconut across the room that slammed a guy up side the head. He was only unconscious for 5 or 6 minutes tops.

I was hoping to read about how hurricanes can increase penis size. Should this be in the main member forum?

Well if you attached a parachute to the little guy and chained yourself to a lamppost, you might stretch something
