I actually attempted jelqing back in the 70’s due to a single paragraph I found in some book about sex research.

Did you have enough information to get it right?

No I did not. It might have worked if I was a super fast gainer but such was not the case. It was a single paragraph mentioning the only thing that researcher had encountered that might be able to increase penis size and suggested working your way up to 100 strokes.

I started my PE with a Kaplan pump that I purchased from an adult book store sometime around 1997. I ended up with a huge penis that was nothing but fluid. Real stupid when I look back. My use of the pump at that time was accomplishing nothing. Now I do different things throughout the year, depending how my unit feels. Right now I am toying around with monkeybar’s Vacu-Hanger.

I haven’t seen the “Vacu-Hanger”, I’ll have to read about it. I haven’t been able to engineer a comfortable hanger.

It’s scary how similar our path to PE has been. I did everything you guys listed starting with that damn book, then the pumping.

I didn’t start seeing real gains until I learn to jelq, thats when I found Tom’s site. Then from there I found Thunders, the meca of all PE.

Penthouse Magazine published some very rudimentary info about jelqing, ADS and Jes Extenders in the early 1970’s, but they are referred to by different names. The people writing the articles clearly never actually used them.

There’s also the awful fountain of misinformation Penis Enlargement Facts and Phallacy which, if memory serves me correctly, does not even mention hanging, jelqing or extenders. The book does dedicate a few pages to a series of increase you length with hynopsis tapes.

Frankly, I think I may have read the book once or twice, then thrown it out… the first “real” PE info I got was probably from the original Newart or Tigerpumping websites.

There is a section on jelqing, but it is small and misguiding. What I mean is that I know how to jelq and I still didn’t understand what Gary was trying to say in his “Jelqing Section”. :confused:

Yes, the Griffin books are pretty crazy. It amazes me that we have come such a long way in only 10 years.

waihung, the thread for the Vacu-Hanger is called “AutoExtender Vacu-Hanger is ready” located in the Review forum. When I last checked the thread was at twenty four pages. Definitely some interest being taken there. And yes it is a comfortable hanger. Might want to follow the guidelines for use if you go that direction. I got a small water blister when I exceeded length in time recommendations at ten pounds.
