I have used both types (velcro and cable clamp) extensively. In my opinion, cable clamp wins hands down.

Velcro has the following problems:

1. It is not comfortable if you really tighten it good. The burning sensation is real and messing with a Kleenex to alleviate that pain is unrealistic.

2. Velcro slips. You have to keep readjusting it.

3. It wears out fast. You need to get a fresh one often.

4. It does not get as tight as a cable clamp. Good clamping requires good pressure. Cable clamps allow for easy tightening and lock into place creating constant adequate pressure.

5. It caused my only PE injury. I used velcro every day for several months. When you get it good and tight, it will dig into the skin…and any vein that is also there. It caused a painful injury that fucked up a vein for a couple of months.

Again, this is my opinion….and you know what they say about those.

I have used one of those velcro straps and I hated it.

The cable clamps are great especially when used with a cock ring underneath for a cushion.

Well, first post here, hi I guess fellas.

I’ve used the Velcro clamps myself, not out of choice, but because (until recently) it was nigh impossible to get the cable clamp in the UK without paying massive shipping costs.

However, I found a seller on the Bay recently stocking the real cable clamps as “Sea Clamps”. Same design, different colour. I can’t comment on how good it is however, as I ordered medium and my somewhat-lacking girth isn’t big enough. I will order a small soon though, so I can really compare.

The Velcro does work, but you need to learn at what erection % to put it on at, and you will almost certainly need to kegel every minute or so.

Medium clamp is always used, no matter are you 4” girth or 7” girth. Small clamp will barely fit on you finger and if you need large clamp, then you don’t need to PE. :p Use more wrap and medium clamp will fit you 100%.
