Pics of my modified cable clamp.

Title sounds cooler than what this really is, thats not saying its not extremely effective. Im sure somebody has done this, but I havent seen this yet so I thought I would share this with you guys. Just wind string along the cable clamp all the way around to decrease the inner circumference thereby eliminating the need for a wrap. After you’re done just use the clamp as you normally would and voila, easy peasy clamp squeezy. Pics will probably say more than I can.

Mods if you’d like to move this into the main member forum due to clamping being a non-newbie exercise feel free, I cant start a thread there yet.

Looks good. Also looks like it’ll stop you from pinching yourself at the hinges.

How’d you tie off the string at the ends?

Yes it does help a lot with pinching, but it’s not a cure-all for that.

On the male side of the clamp I held access string on the “penis out” side then wound the string over it so I didn’t have to tie a knot on that end, when I was finished winding near the hinge side I did a simple over hand knot with the end string and the previous wind then singed and pressed the strings together to prevent unwinding.

The female side is the same concept, but because there is a handle you treat it as two separate “winds” then overhand knot the two separate end strings, then again singe and press for them to stay put.

I hope thats clear Im about T- 10mins to hitting the sack.

Velcro cable clamps are so much better and would fit any shape and size perfectly. Holds in blood perfectly, this cable clamp looks like it isn’t very effective. These velcro clamps, There like straps and there not very big it’s less than a half inch across by maybe 8 inchs long. You can buy them at walmart like 3 rolls of 20 each for like 5.99

Using one though gives a burning sensastion when you take it off before your erection subsides and sometimes burns while edging with it on, to fix that you can just get some kleenex or a cloth or whatever and it totally feels comfortable.

God this cable clamp looks stupid to use.

Why does this look ineffective and stupid? Its works perfectly I assure you. Can you elaborate on the burning, Im not sure I understand what causes it?

Yes, those are the exact kind I use on my extender and for clamping! Well the burning sensation is just the skin being rubbed on the wirewrap and it feels much like rug burn. I guess it burns while your getting an erection with it on because the skin stretchs underneath it or whatever but I assure you it feels totally comfortable with kleenex or a cloth or whatever on your unit first.

And that cable clamp doesn’t look very effect IMO because well my unit is more wider than it is deep and I think if I used that for clamping it wouldn’t exactly completely close my corpova cavernosa and spongiosum like my velcro straps do.

Ok I am going to pick up a roll of these and try them out sounds like it could be a bit easier. Cheap too. Honestly you should pick up a cable clamp and try it, you might like it. The elliptical shape of the cable clamp is really a benefit for the same reason you think it isnt, I believe, because its shape is similar to what you described: more wide than deep. So the pressure distribution is relative to the shape of the penis, if that makes sense.

Dude man, once you try these velcro straps your gunna realize why I won’t even bother trying that clamp you use, lol.

Thereefer the cable clamp is tried and tested and approved by many members on this site, please don’t be so quick to bash it on your 6th post. There are intracacies to it that are unknown to an outward observer ;)

One of the more important things is that, if applied correctly, it doesn’t put pressure on the dorsal nerves, which is generally not a good thing.

Also, if you want to avoid that burning sensation when you put your velcro strap on too tightly or take it off, you need to make yourself a wrap.

Dude, that is so stupid.. Yeah I’m sure it’s decent but try the velcro strap and you will understand. You can’t deny it’s obviously superior to that dumb looking clamp just by looking at the pics that RedAss posted.

Don’t waste your time with that kind of a clamp. Seriously.

Have you considered that in all the years this site has been running, with all the people who have looked for clamping methods, with all the combined inginuity of the forum users, there might be reasons why the cable clamp is a more popular clamping method? Hmm?

I happen to think Redass’s clamp is a good idea. Might reduce or even end the need for a wrap. There are reasons many of us have been using cable clamps for years. They work…

I use two types of clamps myself. I use the Air Clamp (thanks Monty for an awesome product) and a normal cable clamp. I usually double clamp. I put on the Airclamp first and then the cable clamp to further increase the clamped pressure (not on top of each other, just up against each other).

Air Clamp in my opinion is a much more effective and user-friendly version of a velcro clamp. It actually attaches using velcro…
