Mem, or who ever updated and organized the wiki recently:
You did a great job at making it easier to comment and post ideas!

I added some more thoughts and questions. Also, I added “method for collecting data.”

Later this week, when things progress a little more, I will organize everything more — making it even easier for users to read.

Sunday we start molding the actual Survey Questions.

Hence, if you have some ideas or “questions we want answers to,” add them by Saturday.

Just a note for adding stuff in the wiki

If you put 4 tildas after your comment, your name and the time will be added

or whatever.

It is very useful because the name stands out in blue. Making it easier for people are checking for updates to see if anyone wrote a comment or idea.

I just added some thoughts to the Survey Wiki page. Unfortunately the formatting got bizarre after posting, and now I can’t seem to edit anything on the Discussion page. Are there any instructions available on how to use the Wiki? I am finding it frustrating.

This might help:

I enjoyed reading your comments. They are definetly a great addition. I can’t wait to start implementing your thoughts and ideas.

Okay, I was able to sort-of fix my new post by using Internet Explorer rather than Firefox, but I still don’t understand Wiki auto-formatting at all — it drives me nuts in the same way MS Word does. I clicked the “editing help” button but it didn’t help.

Oh, thanks for the link Remek! I’ll check that out now.

Figure it all out PG?

TOMORROW, we start building the questions. If you have any “questions we want answers to,” then add them now.

And the winner of remek's 1000th post goes to … the second pe survey thread

Ok guys, its time for the fun. We are now building the survey. I have created two new pages:

The first — an updated “overview” of the first discussion we had on wiki. Btw, everyone contributed a lot. Thank you PG, memento, Thunder, xeno, mgus, pgt7787, modesto, xlmag, tube, and anyone and everyone else who has helped launch this project so far. The “overview” can be found here. It has the 20 “questions” we want answers to, and the current thoughts on how to design the survey.

The second new page is the page we will now be using to discuss our current task — building the survey. The building page is currently empty, but I will be adding to it tonight. I am going to review the ideas we have so far, and hopefully get a basic set of questions laid out (a rough draft)…

Let’s keep it rolling gentlemen… it will help us keep our minds off the latest tragedies going on around the world.

A while ago, Thunder suggested we take each question, one by one, and mold it into the perfect unbiased survey question. Thank is what we are going to do. We will do this here, on this thread. After we have molded a survey question, we will add it to the list here. If we were to do it on wiki, it would become extremely cluttered. Furthermore, I find it is much easier to keep everyone motivated for this project if it is easier on you guys. It is much easier to simply type up a reply via the forum… Now onto the fun part.

The first “question we want an answer to,” is:

1. Is it time itself (hours spent pulling) that is important or is it more important to do it a certain fashion? In other words, in some way or fashion we should try to take into account which members have followed a set routine - did they gain? and which who simply keep changing all the time - did they gain?

Unfortunately, due to the basic structure of a survey, we probably won’t be able to find an answer to every quesetion. Some questions are just too difficult. We should first ask ourselves, is the question attainable? Can we collect accurate data for this question through a survey?

This question will be tough for me. I follow a set routine that constantly changes.

To make it even more fun…then I stop completely. I think it will take several questions to handle getting a clear picture of a PE practitioner like myself. I really think we need to establish early on, i.e. first, what sort of PE practice the respondent practices…constant, punctuated, intermittent might be good “bins” to separate respondents into. Then we should pursue establishing what the duration and frequency of their particular brand of training is, IMO.

It may not seem like it, but I’m trying to help.

I too found this question to be tough. I agree we need to establish the frequency of training. The question I am asking now is “how?” I haven’t come up with anything yet…
In the first survey, I asked participants for overall total time (in weeks, months, years) spent exercising the penis. For example, if one has been exercising their penis for 3 years, but took substantial breaks, then the breaks would not have been included in the response.
