I actually tried a hair removal cream today and it worked really well.

I don’t shave, but I use hair trimmers to get as close to a shave as I can. My girlfriend likes it better than being hairy.

Hey guys, I tried plucking and it is not bad at all. Began doing it a couple of days ago after the ending hot wrap of my newbie routine. Looks like it may take a while but that will be OK. Don’t want to do too much at one time. Does anyone have an idea of how long it takes to grow back? Or doesn’t it grow back at all?

Yeah it grows back, but the good thing about it growing back is One: it doesn’t itch, Two: It grows back thinner than than before almost invisible and Three: It takes a bit longer to grow back than if it was shaved.

Ever since I started tweezing/plucking my pubic hair from my shaft, I’ve been getting nothing but ingrown hairs. Currently, I have two on the top of my shaft and two on the bottom. They just don’t want to go away either.

I’ve tried everything - popping them, putting ProActiv on them, used Tend Skin….NOTHING WORKS!

And worst part about it, harden a little bit and this makes it even harder for me to get rid of them.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I can’t stand having pubic hair - especially on girls, something as beautiful as the female genitalia should NOT be covered up with all that hair! You might want to make sure you are plucking on a clean surface. Do it after a shower or do a quick wipe with some alcohol. Remember you are pulling the hair out so you are leaving a pore exposed (that wasn’t before because a hair was in it) and “traumatized” for a bit. Make sure you are not doing it before you are going to sweat alot and try and keep the area clean for the first 24 hours.

Just think about how a cleanly shaven face reacts after a workout. It increases the chances of pimples and clogged pours.

ADVISE:

I had a horrible ingrown hair back when I was shaving and caused me to switch to tweezers. It got so bad that I has to take needle to it and pick out the hair, a very traumatizing event. It worked though. I kept it clean and it eventually heal, although it did take about a month or two to completely go away. I get what I;m saving you may just have some bad suckers there just keep popping keep um clean and then should go away in time. If it gets really bad just see a Dermatologist and I’m sure would have a solution.

My girlfriend is the same way too, although she doesn’t shave… She plucks (ouch), it stays smoother longer and stubble won’t get in the way when “eating”. Maybe suggest this to your girlfriend?

Shave Jewels and shaft just before I shave beard on face - dont think its adds more than 2 minutes to regular shaving time

I’ve heard from some guys here who used to catch their hair between a strip of duct-tape and ripping it out. I’ve gone the waxing route. I know there going to be quite a few “ouch” replies to this, but I don’t think its that bad. Sensitive for a few hours, but not painful. The next day use a good lotion and you have a great looking and feeling, smooth, genital area. I used to shave there a while back though, hated the stubble and having to touch up every couple days.

PS: Practise waxing on less sensitive areas first, before attempting it down there.
