Monty my good man, you stated earlier: ‘If your going soft in the middle of a session you need to clamp tighter or start off with more pressure and clamp tighter also. You should remain tightly expanded for the entire 10 minutes or whatever.’

Is it possible to remain completely expanded throughout a set without having to be aroused? (I.e. Purely the clamp holding the blood in)

I seem to be getting a really good amount of base girth from hard clamping. I really wasn’t aiming for that at all, and would definitely prefer more mid-shaft girth, but I’ll take it. I put on two, and sometimes even three clamps, and you’d think that the part under the clamp wouldn’t gain anything, but it definitely seems to be.

Something that I’ve found really helps is really pushing the clamp into the pubic bone (I always knew this just never really tried that hard to do it and keep it that way throughout the entire clamping session). I push the first clamp way in there, then as I’m putting on the second clamp I push them both way back and tighten it. Also, several times during the clamping session I’ll push them both back and kegel really hard, which seems to increase the pressure a decent amount.

Sure it’s possible. Oh a little porn might help some but you should be able to stay up OK. In the case of my Air Clamps It generally isn’t necessary to even try to get extra pumps in because they usually aren’t needed.

As I said before crossing the legs can help increase pressure and help get you through the session.

Monty, when speaking about your gains from clamping, I suspect most of the temporary size increase you would see is from lymph buildup, no?

Is this what we should be shooting for every workout?, because I feel like if one doesn’t see size increase during the workout, then how in the world could he see an increase when not working out.

I aim for at least .25 inches of expansion every workout, whether it be fluid buildup or not, and things seem to be heading in the right direction.

Fluid build up during clamping? I don’t think any of my clamping produced fluid build up. First, clamping cuts off fluids from entering anyway and second in order to get fluid build up you have to allow lymph and other fluids in. The only fluid build up I get today is when I hang with a Bib or I’m stacked with my rings. I’ll get fluid build up on the underside of my shaft just under the glan. I eliminate that problem by just taking an extra wrap with my tape exactly on that spot and it doesn’t build anything.

Now as for clamping which I don’t do anymore, for the sake of my wife’s jaw, I’ve never experienced any fluid build up at all.

For the second part of your question: I agree with you. If your not getting any expansion then your wasting your time. Expansion is to be expected. Although I will say that sometimes I wouldn’t get any expansion until the third set. I would do 4, 5 and 6 sets in row. I’d pump up and hold for 10 to 12 minutes then I’d depressurize for 5 or 10 minutes or until all color came back, pump up again for another 10 to 12 minutes, etc , etc.

No, I think that was a really worthwhile question that others ask themselves.

As I think about it more I remember measuring during a set and making sure that there was at least the accomplishment of seeing the usual expanded measurement. Then on occasion I would get surprised that my measurement would go beyond the previous norm. So a new level was reached. They might not come all that often but it was progress.
