Staying motivated

I’m having trouble staying motivated. I am getting closer to my short term goal, actually I think I’m there, but I’m not going to measure till the end 20th. I do want to get to my long term goal, but I’m just not as motivated as I was when I started. I did read somewhere that the closer we get to our goals the less motivated we are to continue. What do you do to stay motivated once you get close to your goal?

I don’t want to lose my motivation. I feel PE has been great for me as my EQ has gone up dramatically and the volume of my ejaculation has increase along with my size. I am still following my exercise routine, but I just don’t feel as “into” it as I once did.

Setup your plan and measure monthly. That way you should either see growth or holding the good size. Measuring daily, can be depressing
For some of us.

If you are close to your goal, set a goal higher and keep going.

If you ever do get to a point where you have more than you need for almost anyone, then you can back down to a maintenance with several
Real workouts per month.

If you have not already, experiment with retaining from Ejaculation. Do not masterbate, and during sex, get used to doing the act without orgasming.

Holding in all that energy will motivate you, especially if you can get your partner off with your organ - and not even have to orgasm.

What’s your routine? You seem to have quick gains. This would be my motivation..

I do the newbie routine with minor modifications. I heat longer than the newbie routine states and I stretch longer. Thats really all I’ve been doing.

If that routine in working for you, don’t change a thing. Changing routine while gaining can upset the growth or the growth spurt.

Now then, let’s re-define modivation. Are you really not motivated? Those gains are enough to motivate everybody here, or are you just too lazy to continue, which also happens to many of us and it happens cause many here have to hide to PE.

Ok, I’m not lazy nor do I have to hide anything. I live alone and can PE whenever I feel. I am just not as enthusiastic as I was in the beginning. I still exercise regularly, but as I said I’m just not as into it as I was.

Yeah my gains are motivation and I hope they continue, but for some reason I’m starting to slip with regards to my desire to exercise although I am still exercising. I’m not the type of guy who just gives up on something, especially if it’s working. I just want to be more excited about PE again.

I couldn’t resist the urge to measure today and so I did. I could feel I was bigger than usual and measuring confirmed it. I am still not at my goal, but I am very close and it seems within reach.

Do not worry about your interest level changing over time - I suspect that it happens to most of us. Many guys, myself included, have even left PE entirely for months or years. For me, that kind of peripheral role is fine, and I return to the exercises whenever I feel like it. I gain more slowly than some, but I have never felt burned out or disenchanted by PE (not that I remember, anyway).

It is probably better to scale back your exercises, and spend time on other pursuits, than to get sloppy out of boredom and run the risk of injury.
