The Days of Our Jelqs?
Hello, it’s REN again,
I was reading a great post on PEing and body building that was originally written by THERMO? and then posted by UNCUT4BIG? But it got me rethinking days on and off again. Here’s the post:
Different approach to PE and its workouts; READ THIS!!
In this post, there is a great case made for watching diet and over training when trying to get good gains. But then he goes on to say that he works a 6 day on, 1 day off routine and I wondered "why go through all that trouble of explaining what to avoid, how to get more for less, and then go on to use a 6 straight day routine?" He must have a reason, do we typically heal that fast?
Even if he is using a highly consolidated 15-30 minute routine that may change one day to the next and only stretches a few days a week. Why not go every other day? If the workouts are that good, wouldn’t a day off after each one make more sense? I wish he was here to ask.
I wonder why THERMO can cite the body builders who can do only 2, maybe 3, workouts a week and make incredible leaps and bounds in gains but not take the same work logic to the PE routine. Or did he, and others, try it already and it didn’t work?
So, what are the good arguments FOR having MORE days off. Has anyone made good gains on a highly consolidated routine as small as 3 or 4 days a week, with no more work than every other day?
