The importance of following the clamping guidelines: Please read
I had an injury yesterday with clamping. In writing this post, I hope to deter people from making the same mistake that I made.
The suggested clamping routine is to have three clamping sessions throughout the day that last 10 minutes each. Well, I thought, instead of clamping in three sessions throughout the day, I’d instead try a 30 minute marathon of clamping, which would enable me to get all the work done in just one session instead of three. Big mistake. After the 30 minute clamping session, I couldn’t get an erection. I tried turning on some pornography and masturbating to see if my dick would return to functioning normally, but at the moment I reached orgasm, I finally got my erection up to about 20%, but then it ended shortly thereafter.
I literally panicked thinking I had permanenty injured my penis.
Trying to stay calm, I got an ice-pack (most likely, there was damage to the ateries or some other vessel, I don’t really know) to prevent further possible swelling. I also took some advil to prevent a possible infection. Fortunately, my dick was able to get a 75% erection about an hour later, though it was a little bit “spongy” and somewhat more difficult to maintain than usual. Luckily today, my dick is functioning nearly normally (I don’t have much difficulty in getting an erection and maintaining the erection, plus I can get to about 90% erect, though there’s a subtle decline in erection quality and still a minor “sponge-likeness,” which I’m sure will heal up in a couple of days). I plan to take two weeks off of PE, sex and masturbation so as to allow an adequate time to give my penis an ample rest and recovery.
As I said at the start of this post, my point in writing this is to deter people from making the same mistake: Learn from my mistake and don’t try a clamping marathon that last for 30 minutes straight. Instead, stick to the guidelines: Have three clamping sessions throughout the day that last 10 minutes each.
