I read your post to my wife and she said you shouldn’t have taken the kids on vacation. She said your wife sounds mentally, emotionally and likely physically exhausted from being a full time mother. Sounds like she needs a break and some strong reminders of what it like to be a woman instead of a mother.

Exactly! She is still raving about the beautiful vacation but our 5 year old sleeping in our bed is an issue however my wife would be to blame for allowing it. We need a vacation from the kids to ourselves. With a 9,7, and 5 year old she is burned out.

Update although I’ve been taking everyone’s advice, helping more around the house, showing a lot of affection she still not getting this dick.

I haven’t tried to touch her at all sexually since we returned from the vacation. When I woke up this morning she looked at me and said you crashed last night implying that she thought we would have sex. I just replied that I have been really tired lately (it should sound familiar to her)

When I got out of the shower I dried off with my dick swinging so she could see it. I dried extra long until I had a semi. Then I got dressed and left for work. She is not getting this for a while. I can go without while we work on our relationship.

That my point to her. I told her if she touched it once in a while she would realize that I have excellent EQ and look elsewhere for why it feels soft to her all of the sudden.

I think this is a concern but it would come with a lot of other warning signs other than lack of sexual interest. A certain amount of trust has to exist in relationships on both sides. Investigation of perceived cheating would have to be done very carefully and not to the extent of violating that trust. However, as men we should be concerned with the security and sanctity of our relationships and act to protect them.

Kids waking up in the night and going in their parents room seems normal to me. I did it when I was young. But he’ll I was an only child and my room and parents room was on opposite ends of the house and sometimes children get scared when they are alone. But if I had a sibling surely I would’ve felt more comfortable without my parents.

I don’t have kids but I would think that all other considerations should come second to whatever is the best for the children but it is important to get away and keep your relationship with your wife fresh and strong. I would consider date nights and vacations where the kids are with a baby sitter and/or family member.
