Time to Restart

Time to Restart

Well I followed everyone’s advice. I took sometime off since basically everyone felt I was over-training. Anyhow, I am not back in the swing. I took my first week off cold-turkey, I did absolutely nothing. In my second week I just did warm-up, manual stretches, and kegels. Now I am ready to get back in but I need some advice.

Since my first two months were basically the newbie routine with orange bends thrown in, how should I avoid over-training even when doing the newbie routine? I haven’t gained much, actually I measured after two weeks off and I lost about .2 in both direction. So any tips on how to find your groove or getting a general feel for your dick down? I’m sick of starting up the newbie routine and finding out somehow I can even manage to overdo that.

PS: Anyone here know a married guy with a small dick (6” x 4.25”)? I would like to ask him some questions.

Thanks

What was your PE timetable? (1on/1off) etc

If you have taken a break then the newbie routine would be a the best option. “Orange bends” and “newbie routine” should not be in the same sentence.

I suspect that I too was overtraining. I would do very intense routines on a 2on/1off or 3on/1off timetable.
Well, I changed to a 1on/2off timetable and my girth increased 1/16” (measured on my 2nd off day). Yes, yes, I know, it’s not cemented, but after trying some intense girth workouts I’m just happy to see a larger girth post workout. Without an increase, I can’t see how I would ever gain anything.

I think I’m going to stick to my new timetable.

Why don’t you try the newb routine with a 1on/1off timetable or even 1on/2off. I think it’s better to undertrain than overtrain.

I do 1 on 1 off, with a 2 day off about once a week. This works well for me.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

You’re very young, and for this I’m not convinced that you we’re overtraining. Especially if you we’re doing the newbie routine, I would wager that you we’re undertraining. At your age your body can repair very fast, and you’ll notice that the vast majority of good gainers are well over thirty, and if they are your age, they used intense routines to get where they are. Understand?

If I we’re you I would do the newbie routine for a month and see if you gain. If not, ramp up the intensity or take less time off. Leave out orange bends now because that’s too many variables for the time being. If you are obviously overtraining because you can’t get hard and you’re all bruised up or sore, disregard this post.

I know I was rather vague. My schedule was like this …

Sunday, Monday, Wednsday, Thursday = ON
Tuesday, Friday, Saturday = OFF

Also, the ORANGE BENDS didn’t come in ‘til the last two weeks. I’m sorry I didn’t clear that up. I did the newbie routine for a month and 1/2 to find out I lost ground. Then I started the O-Bends, and it didn’t change much.

So now we have people saying I should take more rest days, people say I have been overtraining, and now someone suggests I have been undertraining. I’m thoroughly confused … I think I’ll start the newbie routine again, but really light. If anyone has ANY ADVICE … SERIOUSLY, ANYTHING THAT COULD HELP ME AVOID PREVIOUS PITFALLS AND HELP ME GAIN (I only want .5-.75 both ways) PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

How about a married guy who started with 5.5x4.25”? Ask away via PM

Just trying to become average.... "There is ALWAYS hope" - Aragorn start 11/25/04 BPEL= 14.7 cm (5.78") EG= 11 cm (4.33")

I over trained at first, I got those newbie gains and I went crazy. I was jelqing morning noon and night sometimes. My routine was a morning 45 min jelq session, then a night 1 hr session. With maybe one day off a week. When I did this much my erections got weak, and I didn’t make any gains.

This is what I had to do. Do a hard session, then take the next day off. Periodically check your unit for soreness. I did my last routine Tuesday evening around 11:00pm. It’s now Thursday morning, I just woke up and put a rubberband on like a cock ring and checked for soreness. And it is very sore very deep down. This tells me it was a good thing I didn’t do a routine last night. Now as for tonight, I’ll do the same test and if it’s still sore, I’ll take the night off. If it feels like a strong erection without soreness I’ll do a routine tonight.

Basically wait until your erection is strong without soreness before doing another session. I’m 32, maybe you will heal faster than me if you are allot younger. Check for soreness and learn how long it takes for it to heal entirely. Mine takes at least 48 hours.

If he was doing Orange bends in the beginning, he was overtraining. O bends are an advanced technique, and shouldn’t be done until the penis is conditioned for it. Just because he is young, and his body heals faster, doesn’t mean he is any less susceptible to injury from overtraining.

However, I do agree that he should JUST do the newbie routine for 1-2 months. Then start to raise the intensity just a little. You should wait 3-4 months before doing any kind of advanced routine.

Alright … thanks so far guys. I hope some of the other Vets ring in with advice, but thanks to everyone so far.

You’re welcome, and keep us posted on your progress *crosses fingers*

For any skin injures use Cortizone 10 Extra Strength. For me, it went away in less than 2 days after applying it 2-3 times a day.

Ive been married 12 years and am rather small but hopefully that is changing. Ask away.

I use to be small, or the small size of average. Now I’m on the big side of average. And I’m married as well.
